> 3 dayI got this item last month and it works great. I use a USB cable into my Nikon D300 and this little guy protects my camera and cable. No more busted ports or bent cables! I love the quick disconnect feature which makes using it a snap. Inexpensive insurance. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayI had boughten one JerkStopper earlier but working with 2-DSLRs I needed a 2nd one plus one for the Laptop. These items will save you money in the long run for protecting the ports on either the camera or laptop.

> 3 dayIf you have a cord attached to your camera, this JerkStopper is a must. Tether Tools makes great accessories and this one is a must have.

> 3 dayExpensive for what it is. Even more expensive on Amazon. I guess we pay extra for free shipping. Im not complaining. It works better than my homemade efforts. It holds my camera remote release cable fine and takes the strain off the connection. I do wish the thing was an inch or so longer.

> 3 dayIt holds everything in its place without a possible cord rip out.

Greater than one weekThe USB connector works great, but Im nervous Ill tweak my computers USB drive that it uses to secure it. The camera connector is too loose at the 2-pronged clip and it unclips often with only minor tugs which defeats the purpose of a strain relief.

> 3 dayThis has saved my cameras USB port on more than one occasion. Worth every cent not to have any damage on my $2,500 DSLR body. I shoot in tethered mode all the time, so I cant risk any damage to my camera. I will be buying more of these if and when I break it and need a new one. Small price to pay to not have the strain on the actual camera port.

Greater than one weekI messed up my port on my 7D. Once I fixed my port I bought this thing and it has saved me from having to open my camera again. If you shoot tethered you better grab one

> 3 dayThe only negative is that the way it connects to the mac computer usb ports. They are side by side and It is very tight when you put the usb cord in and the jerk stopper in. You also need an extra usb port. If you need that 2nd usb port you are in trouble.
