I wasted $20 for two pieces of plastic that are useless. And,the USB part does not fit into my iMac or MacbookPro.

Works perfectly. Very well designed. Only gripe is that on my Canon 5D Mark III, it is just the wrong length to try to fly in to the sensor when the body is open.

Ive taken hundreds of thousands of pictures tethered on a DSLR for the last 6 years, nothing better than looping the USB cable around the lens mount and leaving enough for strain relief on the mini usb. Ultra strong, doesnt get in the way (at least on the lenses I use) There is zero weight on the mini usb. On the computer end the active usb extension loops around my table leg. When people trip my ports are protected, there usually is enough slack to prevent the camera from being ripped out of my hand.

I ordered this to keep my sync cord from popping out constantly while shooting with my studio lights. Which is what I thought it was for. To keep something from coming unplugged. I was disappointed that no matter how much slack I gave it or didnt give it I still lost connection, the part that holds the cord was a little too big for my sync cable and when I tightened it a notch I think it killed the cord as it no longer works and I had to order a new one. For those thinking to use it to save equipment from being pulled to the ground it does not and will not help with that as it is connecting your cable/cords to your camera/laptop and it secures them from being separated so this actually ensures that your equipment will come crashing down if you trip on a cable etc, even if the cable comes disconnected the jerkstopper is connected to both.
