The West Wing

I still dont completely understand what went on with creators Aaron Sorkin and Tom Schlamme leaving the West Wing after this season, but the Sorkin touch can still be seen and heard and felt on many of the episodes in this Fourth Season.

There isnt much more to say than I really miss this series. I have watch all the episodes over and over.

It only gets better. Amazing how it resonates in todays political climate. Nothing else like it on TV. Watch it often.

As a longstanding member of the Cynic Party, I have been cynical of politics and politicians from ALL parties for many years. Thus, the WEST WING did not grab me on subject matter alone. From the very first episode, though, I was hooked -- not by the wheeling and dealing and politics, but by the heart of the matter. This show became my weekly habit from the first episode to the last. For some reason, it encouraged me and gave me hope that someday perhaps the Right and the Left will perhaps work together once more, for the good of the country. Oh sure, the WEST WING had plenty of ego and concern over career and legacy, but that was not the driving force -- if anything, it was a force that surfaced and was overcome whenever it got in the way. It is no coincidence that I have been on a WEST WING binge as we endure yet another season of the Three Ring Circus we call the Primaries -- this one, indeed, a colossal spectacle! I started my way through the WEST WING because it gives me hope, and in this election year, I sure need it.

I just wanted to write and thank the reviewer (Chris - Hamburg, NY) who informed me how to get the extras on the 6th disk.

For me this is the season where The West Wing started to come off the rails. Having said that, many episodes are still really good and it contains some of the funniest scenes. Season 5 onwards are like totally different productions and Id only give them two stars.

Im Republican and I like this show. It shows what it is like to work in the white house with no family life available. It is fast paced and hits on hard topics.

One of the best shows although the first few seasons are my favorite. Id highly recommend to anyone who likes TV.

Really well made but very serious to stream. Easy to pick out/watch the funny or best episodes.

This was a great series. Have really enjoyed waching it one seasons at a time. Of course I believe todays government is more like House of Cards.
