The West Wing

The insert I received was for season 3 not season 4. The discs were season 4 though. Overall it was good.

The last great season of The West Wing.

Season 4 and the premire of Season 5 mark the final shows of Rob Lowe, Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme on West Wing. Season 4 was an emotionally trying season, but Sorkins talent for intragrating comedy into those powerful and emotional moments has yet to be matched by the current incarnation of writers on the show. I must admit that the show has improved since Season 5. Season 5 was a bad year for the new writers, they kept trying to imitate Sorkins style without the talent for it. To make up for their lack of creative dialogue, they jumped the shark plot-wise SEVERAL times. Now in season 6, with a new election on the way, these new writers have found their own voice for our favourite characters. Though the dialouge of the current season doesnt have Sorkins rhythm or edge, its still worth watching.

Writing for show is first class

I received the product even faster than expected, the price was excellent and the product is just as described, great!

One of the best shows

I can not receive the West Wing fourth season. I would have to pay for each episode. I am a prime member and the previous episodes were free. Right in the middle of the fourth season the want to charge. I am not happy.

Each season gets better through season 4. Gets wild near the end. While 5 is still great its definitely the slow move down the hill.

First of all, Im a political science/history major and Ill still be the first to admit that I was a bit sceptical of this series. I just didnt think that they could make this show as interesting, informative, and especially funny as it ended up being. After watching about the first disk of the series, I was hooked and it had become my favorite show. The first season just blew my mind. Ive now watched the rest of them, and they havent let up a bit.

Just keeps getting better each season.. One of my favorite shows of all time, so sad when it went off of the air...
