These load straps are very good. The buckle grips the strap and doesnt slip. The Buckle Bumpers protect the car and whatever you are strapping down from scratches. Another good Thule product!

The straps are incredibly strong and the locking nature of the clasp is very solid. I drove from Seattle down to SF using the straps to hold a bunch of boards on the top of my car. They didnt move at all for the 13 hr drive. I would highly rec these. I bought some cheaper straps from Amazon and wish I hadnt. These are well worth the money.

I pulled a Mercedes up a hill with two of these hooked to the back of my Suburban. Probably not rated, but she was blocking the road in a bad storm and got her and her car out of the way and safe. Thule products; have been using them since the 80s without fail. Just dont lend them out, they seem not to come back.
