I own a 3300 psi 2.5 gpm pressure washer. For any of these types of wet blasting units you need a 4000 psi 4 gpm pressure washer to quickly strip paint down to bare metal. I am restoring some farm implements stuck in the dirt for 35 years. They are covered with rust. Sanding would take too long. And I have concerns about using acid because I dont want to hurt the structural integrity of the farm implements. Therefore I bought this and decided to give it a try. First, the quality of the components are high. Stainless steel and brass. The tube is fine. For $39.99 what you get is high quality. I also ordered some replacement tips. I bought a bulk size 5lb baking soda box. I located it away from where any water might get on it. I turned the end of the lance up so the siphon tube was above the tip of the lance, thus ensuring water didnt drip into the siphon tube. It did a good job. It took off the flaking rust and only left non flaking rust on my snow plow. I then power washed this, let it dry, and sprayed it with Rustoleum Rust Converter. I plan on applying primer and red paint to finish it up. This is a good value. If I had a very powerful pressure washer I could have removed all rust, but that is not this products fault. I would purchase it again, as it saved me a lot of time sanding. Plus I didnt have to breathe in dust from sanding. I have only used baking soda. It is fine so it doesnt clog, dry, and easily washes away for easy cleanup.

When it works for the 2 seconds of every minute you spend getting it to siphon it’s great. Have to have some one forcing the siphon tube to load while spraying or you’ll never get anything done

Worked good when new, tips worn after 300 pounds of sand and the wand developed a leak where the tube was joined to the 1/4 quick disconnect.

Needed to rebuild the trailing arms for my 67 Corvair. Air compressor wasnt large enought to handle a sandblaster but I did have a new 3200# PSI pressure washer. Using the cheapest bast media I could buy (medium glass beads) I was surprised of the results. That is 53 years of rust that disappaered in minutes. Anybody want to buy a sandblaster? You should wear coveralls, full face shield. I did my blasting in a corner of my stone drivway so clean up was easy, let media dry and re-rake the stones.

Not happy so far! Using a brand new 3600 psi pressure washer, #30 kiln dried sand and nothing but a clogged hose! It sucks the sand in but it never comes out the other side! As far as I can tell I’m doing everything exactly as directions say. Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong? Or is this thing just a pos!

This is a well-made tool for the money. I have no complaints about the quality of construction, the design, or functionality. The ONLY reason I didnt give it five stars is that it wasnt the best for my application, which was removing paint from the steel frame of an exercise bike Im restoring. It uses double (approx) the media of a dry blaster, and the bare metal rusts almost immediately! If I were working on a non-metallic project, and if it were a little more efficient with the blast media, Id have given 5-stars.
