This was kind of heavy. The umbrella pole kind of wobbles.

My fair skinned mother adores the sunbrella. She uses it for daily walks in her neighborhood/park and at her 2 grandsons soccer games. She has used it in the sun, rain and it has held up to some hefty winds. The uv coating has started to wear thin at the folds. She asked for a new one She loves it so much. It held up for 6 years of very frequent, but gentle use. Highly recommend. It really does keep you 10 degrees cooler. Originally She got a few funny looks or funny comments, but most people were curious and wanted to know if it works. She should get a commission. :)

Its a heavy and bulky umbrella with good UV blockage, if weight does matter, this is not for you

I live in a tropical area so this umbrella is a daily necessity!

Have used this type of umbrella for years for a sun protector. Used to use another brand but they discontinued making this size. So, I started searching and found this one that I also like. Would not be able to walk in the intense heat where I live without it. Hope this company keeps making them.

Bought this to stay in the shade and keep some heat off while walking all day in an upcoming trip where it will be 80-90+ degrees everyday. Last time I used my moms. It is a good investment.

This is an excellent umbrella! Ive just returned from Central America where I used it as protection from the blistering hot sun. It lowers the temperature significantly. It was also quite windy a few times and it didnt turn inside out. I use it daily in Texas when I walk my dog on hot summer days and when traveling. Highly recommend.

Thought it would be a little smaller for travel, but its still fine

This was called a travel umbrella, I guess because it has a cover that can be slung on your shoulder by a strap? It is HEAVY. I live in the desert, I need a sun blocker when I walk my dog. After 30 minutes of holding this my hand/arm were very fatigued. It is way too big and way too heavy for a brisk 30 minute walk. I did jot want to buy the smaller umbrella because it had a really cheesy handle.
