Greater than one weekI installed this switch / hub for my Sons bedroom, so his laptop, game console, HDTV, etc all have the Internet and local access they require. The entire network is entirely Gigabit. Thus far it has been running like a champ in stability and performance and resides at the end of a series of other switches (48 port, 8 port and an 100 foot cable and 50 foot cable). It clearly is faster than a 10/100 hub-switch and it has been stable (in the 3 days or so weve been using it). Honestly, not much one can say about an unmanaged switch, as it works or doesnt work. This one is working and doing its job well.

> 3 dayThis switch is good although I had a 8 port trendnet fail after 1 month. The 5 port switch is working great.

> 3 dayWorked flawlessly for 30 days, then stopped working without any warning. Others have reported similar. As shipping cost is close to its original purchase cost, it would double the price I paid for it to get another. Buy something else instead of this. Add- after I posted the above, I took the switch apart. It looks like the board was wet at some point, and the inside of the case had some dirt or dust. I took this directly out of its original packaging and mounted it on the side wall of my audio cabinet within 10 minutes. There is no way it got wet in my possession or in its original packaging. This happened where ever it was made before it was packaged. In the end, for $15 you get some nice LED lights, a nice metal box and a charger, but not an ethernet switch.

> 3 dayReliable, small, limited to 7K jumbo frames. Id have given it 5 stars if it could have used 9K frames.

> 3 day2 stars for the 2 years of functional service. Sometime after ~2 years, all ports went dead - unit powers up fine. Ive tested both sides of the connections, cables, and all ports separately.

> 3 dayPlugged right in and worked flawlessly with no messing around. My ethernet is still a full one gig, no loss from this switch. I wish everything worked this well.

> 3 dayThese switches work great and exactly as described. I use them for when we have employees at work that need more than one network port but we dont have the feasibility to run new lines to their desk. This works perfectly for that. I highly recommend them for anyone that needs additional network ports and doesnt need complexity--just plug and play and it works.

Greater than one weekFantastic little switch. I have two of these, one of them an older version and its been working for about 5 years. My most recent of these replaced a Netgear switch that crapped out because of overheating issues.
