> 24 hourMy boyfriend loved his gift, especially the on/off functionality without a sparker

> 24 hourBadass. Throttle knob takes it from mad max flame thrower to candle size flame. I did not expect that much adjustability from reading other reviews. But the torch does throttle nicely and without spewing an orange junk flame at any setting. I have not tried it with the mapp gas, this is running it on propane.

> 24 hourI was shaking after using this. Its heavy and you cant really use this on food :( The return window is too short. I am not happy with Amazon.

> 24 hourWell, I mainly got this for sous vide, but I have been using it on anything that I can. Melting butter, toasting bread, finishing eggs, and finally sous vide. It works fantastically and puts out a nice flame. Ive only used it with the large green propane camp gas canisters so far and its performed well. I like that I have fuel options though should I need an alternative. A plus of using the camp gas is that they heavy base allows me to just stand the whole unit up for storage, rather than taking it apart or laying it down somewhere. Im sure I will find some other uses for this torch in the garage/workshop as well.

> 24 hourThis works great. Saves propane. Saves potential hazard of keeping regular torch running while making pipe adjustments. Hot flame speeds up soldering time. If you dont have one, get this one.

> 24 hourI bought this to use for cooking and baking. I am a chef by trade and wanted this primarily for creme brulee. So called brulee torches are painfully under powered and significantly lack the heat output required for doing many desserts in rapid succession. I also use it for starting my grill because I prefer to use hardwood charcoal without any chemical accelerants. I like how easily the flame level is adjusted and the fuel canisters are readily available at most hardware stores and Walmart.
