I bought this primarily because I had to sweat some copper tube when I replaced my water heater and have since moved to using this for when I do Sous Vide cooking. It works great for adding that after cook sear and giving some texture to the foods once I am done. Spins right on a small take easy and I appreciate the lock button on the torch so I can put it down and not worry about someone accidentally turning it on immediately. I also used it to light some post Independence day fireworks and it works way better than my old cheap-o torch. Its nice to just click the button and torch that wick.

Love this. Sturdy well made. Lots of consistent power. Not too heavy.

I use with MAPP gas for brazing. Lights easy, burns hot, stays lit and can be turned upside down without extinguishing. Not for use with welding rods, but works great for brazing and flame soldering. If youre using to char food, save a few bucks and buy a torch that doesnt burn as hot (standard torch and propane).

Works perfect. Strikes every time, adjustable burner, durable, does what its supposed to. Nothing else needed to say.
