Greater than one weekHOT. Durable and heavy. Ignition works very well. Expensive, but you pay for what you get.

Greater than one weekI had the older version of this for many years. The sparker finally started to give up, and this was the new model. The adjustability of the flame is a nice touch, and the peak output is higher than the old version. I use it to light the woodstove in my shop on a daily basis, and it is great for getting the kindling going in a cold stove!

Greater than one weekMy torch failed and the lifetime warranty will not cover replacement or repair. Due to the gas pressure from the bottle these torch head will blow a seal and all of the gas in butane bottle will leak off if torch head isnt removed from the bottle after each use. Customer representative that I spoke with informed me that over 90% of all torch failures reported to them are due to this problem. She also informed me that my warranty was void because I had failed to remove the torch from the butane bottle after each use. This is not practical when torch is used every day. If they are having this many failures due to the same problem then it seems like they would fix the problem instead of continuing to sell these torch heads without making any modifications to them.

> 3 dayComing from a plumber that uses this daily Im here to tell u this is my favorite torch Ive ever owned. The flame is more equivalent to that from an acetylene tank but is not such a big flame that is uncontrollable. The great advantage this torch has is the adjustment knob on the back which means u can push the button to keep it running without holding the trigger then adjust the knob on the back to get the desired flame u need for that particular application. This exact same torch at my local Fergusons is currently selling for 100 bucks and that is in central kentucky. The only issue Ive found is when soildering close to a wall its not the swivel head but a trick Ive found is to place a 1/2 copper 90 on the end of the torch head and u can aim the flame away from the wall without issue. Coming from a plumber who has 20 years in the trade this is my favorite torch Ive ever owned. FYI it works better with map gas compared to propane but works with both. Dont hesitate plumbers this is your guy and had a very solid build.
