Greater than one weekWorks great BUT they need to go back to the brass adjustment knob like the TS7000 had instead of the cheap plastic one on this model

> 3 dayBurn warning. Quality warning This torch may vent ahead of the valve through a small vent hole in the side of the unit without warning. If you have good hearing, you can probably hear the gas leak. Otherwise, for the hearing impaired or under noisy conditions, there is no indication of gas venting. When ignited, this vented fuel caused a serious burn on my hand. It lasted far less than a year with very occasional use. When it fails, it can be very DANGEROUS.

> 3 dayi think this one burns quite a bit hotter on full blast, and the ability to turn it down to almost nothing will help save gas as you dont always need to melt what you are heating. needed a second one for the work van so i dont have to break out the oxy/acetylene just to undo a rusty bolt. love the fact that you can get these positioned where you want them and then light it, a lot of the stuff i do on cars you have to remove a bunch of stuff so you dont burn it on the way in which is what can happen with oxy/acetylene. was it worth paying more for the adjustable one, only time will tell. i think it will work out about even on gas consumption
