Great item. Used it in an insulated brick forge

This unit seems to be well made. Lets see how well it hols up.

Now this thing is definitely a Bute ;) Well worth it. I only wish I would have a need to use it more frequently.

I have no standard to measure its performance. It seems to work OK.

To be honest I have owned several self-ignition units in the past and I only ordered this one augment my other torches. When it arrived I mounted post haste and fired it up,and it took many tries to light (about 10 to 14 ). My cheap ones light on the first or second try. The flame adjusts nicely.

I didnt expect as strong a torch as I got - this is awesome. I dont use MAP gas, but now I can if I want to. With the heat this puts out, I doubt I will need to. This operates at most any angle, has an adjustable flame, and is extremely versatile.
