> 24 hourThis kit was pretty nice but I’d probably look for one with less colors & more of each color next time. We were able to do five shirts (2 long sleeve & hooded, all adult) & six masks & only had a few odd colors left over. I didn’t follow instructions but listened to my friends who had tie dyed before & let them sit in plastic wrap for 24 hours, then undid them all & let them air dry before rinsing & washing them. The photos are after unwrapping them, except for the adopt shirt, that was after washing. Colors were more vivid than I thought they’d be & not having to do the soda ash separately was nice, I remember that being another step & tie dye already requires a lot of patience. I had bought rubber bands of different sizes that made some designs easier because the kit only has one size. I also numbered the bottles on the bottom to make rainbows a little easier because they’re hard to tell apart once filled with water. Overall this was a pretty nice kit & the colors didn’t fade much after rinsing & washing & don’t seem to bleed in subsequent washings.

> 24 hourWe did 10 adult shirts, 6 toddler shirts and 1 giant muslin blanket (75x55). Everything was pretty saturated! We did go through all the color, we wouldve liked more yellow and the bright green to add more brightness that wasnt multiple shades of pink or red. So I would buy extras of those colors. However, it was a great starter kit!! Attached are the 11 items I have.

> 24 hourHad a blast using this tie dye kit with boys ranging in ages from 4-8!! We were able to make 4 youth tee shirts, 4 bandanas, and 2 adult tank tops with dye leftover. A few recommendations: 1. Wear Rubber gloves 2. Buy bulk white bandanas to use up extra dye if you don’t want any to go to waste 3. Plan ahead and launder the items you will dye the day before 4. The instructions say to machine wash each item individually after letting the dye set. In the interest of avoiding 10 loads of laundry with only one item in each, I thoroughly (and I mean THOROUGHLY) washed and rung out each item in a utility sink with hot water. I didn’t stop rinsing until the water coming out of the shirts was almost completely clear. Then I washed all of the freshly tie dyed items together in one load and had no problems. I did wash them on their own a few more times before adding with regular laundry 5. Don’t oversaturate! 6. If working with kids, do it outside if possible All of us loved this kit and the kids can’t wait to get another one and tie dye again!!

> 24 hourI loved this the dye kit and we had lots of fun using it! It was definitely easy to use, but some of the bottles would leak when you would shake it up to mix, which wasnt fun, luckily we shook them all in the sink and I was ready for it so I could try to direct the splatter. Not a deal breaker, but I wasnt in love with that part. It came with everything we needed including directions on how to tie the shirts for each effect. We tie dyed everything we could get our hands on, even some white turtle neck style face masks for the kids to make their masks personalized and fun :) the colors did fade more than I expected on the first wash, but not nearly as bad as rit dye or anything. They are still dark and bright! ( To be fair Im comparing to a brand I previously used, I cant remember the name, that didnt fade at ALL after washing, even after a few years) so this isnt the BEST out there, but its a very close runner up, price was great, and we had a super fun family day doing this together, that ran into the next day when we got to unwrap them and see our creations. I accidentally bought two, and instead of returning the second, Im keeping it for a rainy day with the kids :) I do highly recommend.

> 24 hourI made 4 adult shirts and 2 child shirts, could have made 3-5 more shirts depending on colors you want. We used the Blues black purples and pinks.

> 24 hourThis was SO easy to use! Read the directions as it applies best to cotton and silk and one other natural fabric. PREWASH your items that you are going to dye. We picked the swirl design for all 4 boys that were dying shirts. Seemed the easiest. It was SO easy to make/mix the dyes but be careful, aggressive shaking to mix caused some drips to fly out. I thought for sure these would fade a ton, but they are VERY concentrated!!!! Let your shirts sit and “marinate” in their color for 6-8 hours! All of the kids were happy with their shirts!!! If we do it again, I might get some backup dye. (We ran out of a few colors. Just depends on how liberally you apply) would definitely buy again or recommend.

> 24 hourExcellent tie-dye kit!! I put the shirts we dyed in zip lock bags. The directions say to keep the dyed shirts in a bag for 6-8 hours before hanging to dry. My kids had so much fun dying their shirts. We did tshirts and tank tops. My kids ages are 4, 6, and 8. I had to help the 4 year old a little bit. The older two did just fine on their own. This is very messy so be prepared to have dye all over. We did this outside in the grass which worked out well. Dye got on our folding table, but came off instantly with a magic eraser sponge. Great experience! :)

> 24 hourThis kit was so easy to use! I got it for Easter to get creative in quarantine with the family. No one else had tie dyed before this except for myself. It was so fun to see everyone get into it and this kit made it super easy to facilitate a low stress & low mess activity! All the colors included are gorgeous—we were so impressed with the color selection and vibrancy. I wanted to note that after rinsing the items on day 2, we laid the shirts out to dry in the hot Texas sun (unintentionally because it took minutes lol). Then, we did an extra step of heat setting the items by ironing them before sticking everything in the wash. I think it really helped set the dye prior to first wash & resist color bleed. Note, Blue based colors seems to have the most bleed so be sure to rinse them extra well! We loved it so much, we may make this a family tradition every Easter!

> 24 hourThink I received one that had already been opened by some one else prior cause things are missing from it
