> 24 hourI bought the dye so my students can create tye-dye socks and t-shirts for World Downs Syndrome Day. The kids had a lot of fun twisting and tying and putting color on the material. We let it all sit for 24 hours and then washed the products. (Cotton t-shirts and socks) When they came out of the wash ALL of the socks were white and blue only. All of the red, yellow, and green colors were washed out. I re-read the directions (I am a teacher) and made sure that the instructs that came with the product were followed to the letter. We prewashed the fabric and dried it and added water to the dye bottle, filling to line. (note how it does not say a particular temperature) Then it says to apply dye to the fabric (doesnt say anything about using rubber bands to create the tye-dye effect). We then wrapped and covered the fabric overnight and rinsed it well with water as instructed. Here it says to cut rubber bands (note, nowhere before does it say to wrap the fabric using the bands). Not even in the tips does it suggest anything. So before you lose money on this product as I did - according to their website it says: 1) Use WARM water to mix the dye. Hot water will break it down, and cold water will cause it to undissolved. 2) Use rubberbands on fabric to help create a nice pattern. 3) SOAK MATERIAL IN VINEGAR to saturate BEFORE you apply the dye. 4) Use dye to create patterns 5) Let sit overnight or up to 24 hours. 6) Rinse in COLD water thoroughly to remove the excess dye. 7) Washing in WARM water is the final step. Hope yours works out well using these revised steps from the internet. I am truly disappointed in the Tulip brand that I came to know and love for years.

> 24 hourOur family used this kit to make some shirts. We made 4 shirts and still have many colors to use for future projects. I was amazed at how well the tie dye turned out! Just like the pictures included with the instructions. We washed the shirts according to the instructions, and the colors have remained vibrant and permanent over several washings. It’s a messy project, so I would recommend working on it outside. But it was super fun, we have great shirts, and we can’t wait to do more. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourI used this for tie-dying with my daughter. Super easy. The only thing I would suggest is diluting the colors down way more than just what they give you. I dumped out some of the powder into a Ziploc bag. The colors are very vibrant and strong and I wanted a more pastel trendy look. Are use this for tie-dying with my daughter. Super easy. > 24 hourWe did 10 adult shirts, 6 toddler shirts and 1 giant muslin blanket (75x55). Everything was pretty saturated! We did go through all the color, we wouldve liked more yellow and the bright green to add more brightness that wasnt multiple shades of pink or red. So I would buy extras of those colors. However, it was a great starter kit!! Attached are the 11 items I have.

> 24 hourI got this for my daughter for Christmas, as we had done tie dye it together in the past and had a great time, but with this being a new kit from a different manufacturer, I was apprehensive. So when she and her friends had a little tie dye party I was interested in how everyones works of art would come out. Well, EVERYONE was proud of them. My daughters tops almost looked like something that you could sell at a beachside souvenir shop. Keep in mind these kids are 7-8 years old so they arent experts in tie-dye, but everything came out great. The bottles are easy to use and it comes equipped with most of the stuff you need (rubber bands, gloves, etc.)

> 24 hourA bit messy but great summer activity with kids. As you can see in the photo, the dye was enough for more than 5 people. It think its perfect for 10 kids party, each gets one shirt. B U T you need to prepare huge towel to soak the extra fluieds and something to cover to floor with. The cover that came in the package was too small. Dont forget to put the cloths in water first

> 24 hourThis kit was the best, we made 5 boys wife beaters and four womens shirts and had a ton leftover. My grandson is 6 and had the best time. I would hope we do it again next summer
