> 3 dayCreated tie dye shirts with my after school class and this kit was so simple to use! I bought two kits to make sure everyone had choices with color. I will purchase this again!

> 3 dayWe did 10 adult shirts, 6 toddler shirts and 1 giant muslin blanket (75x55). Everything was pretty saturated! We did go through all the color, we wouldve liked more yellow and the bright green to add more brightness that wasnt multiple shades of pink or red. So I would buy extras of those colors. However, it was a great starter kit!! Attached are the 11 items I have.

Greater than one weekPigment was very bright. I knocked a star off because one of the colors had exploded in the box and it was all over EVERYTHING causing pink splotches randomly, the reds and oranges didn’t dissolve as well as the blues, and our green was actually a teal. There was more that we had dyed though and we had fun. We bought a bunch of shirts from Burlington and TJ Maxx to spruce them up a bit. Over all even with pink all over the place, this is probably the best kit I’ve used.

> 3 daySo, in an effort to keep my kids engaged and off of electronics while isolated in the house we purchased this and lots of white clothing. We went through everything and I ended up dying pillow cases and really everything possible....and yes, I ended up.... I enjoyed this activity more than the kids and found it quite therapeutic. Ive purchased two if these kits and have enjoyed every drop of color. Just beware: the dye isnt great and washed out easily. Make sure and wash separately for the first few washes so that you dont stain other clothes

> 3 dayI didn’t have the first clue about tie dye, so I ordered this kit. I was a little apprehensive about making sure I got it right and trying not to destroy my house in the process. This kit was at a great price point and seemed to be easy. So I decided to give it a shot. I was right! I’m incredibly impressed. The kit includes powdered dye that’s in bottles; just add water and shake. It also has a plastic table covering (note: it’s very small, and you may want to plan on a bigger one of your own for your table. It didn’t quite cover my modestly sized kitchen island.), gloves (but we opted to use our own better-fitting ones), and lots of rubber bands! I learned that we needed items with mostly natural fibers (at least 50% cotton, but more cotton = better), so I ordered cotton t-shirts, cotton hair scrunchies and cotton bath towels. The kit came with great step-by-step instructions, which included directions for folding different patterns. Perfect for a newbie! We also supplied our own plastic bags for letting the items stay damp and soak in their dye. I only have a couple of minor complaints. The table cloth was so small that it almost wasn’t worth it. Definitely plan on a larger one if you’re not dyeing alone. Some of the powder dust was on the outside of the bottles, but we noticed it and avoided a mess. Also, the kit claims it’s enough for 30 projects, but I’d say that’s a bit of an overstatement. We did four shirts and 10 scrunchies. I wouldn’t consider the scrunchies a whole project. I thought the towels would be perfect to count as the remaining projects, but we ended up not having quite enough dye to finish out our towels. We probably should’ve had an entirely separate kit for three towels. All in all, my kids and I had an absolute blast creating our items. I already want to order the kit again and find more things to tie dye!

> 3 dayI have never tie dyed before, but now that I am required to wear a mask all day at work, I decided I needed to have a LOT of masks, and a LOT of fun! I had to wait on this kit, as they were out of stock when I ordered it, but it came before they initially predicted, so no complaints there. OH. MY. GOSH. The COLOR! Just LOOK at these finished masks! I used 100% cotton, pre-washed as suggested, and followed all the directions. This is after 2 trips through the washer on hot. I am absolutely THRILLED with the results. Would absolutely recommend this tie dye kit, and will purchase again if I decide to do more tie dying. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to include 2 bottles of yellow, as that is the one color I nearly ran out of. I had plenty of all the other colors, and froze 2 ice-cube trays worth to try a different method later. If that works out, I will add pics at a later date. Also, I bought a bag of smaller rubber bands, as the ones included with the kit were for larger projects. In the meantime, I will be having fun at work with all the variety!

> 3 daySuper simple tie dye kit. Came with enough dye for the 4 shirts we did and had about 6 or 7 extra bottles left over. Make sure to only fill the bottles you are using though because you are supposed to use them about a day after you mix the dye. Only problem we had was with the green dye. It wouldn’t mix with the water and had small orange specks in it. We tried to cover the orange with blue but I would recommend trying the color out on a napkin or something first. The blue tie dye shirt was damp when I colored it and the pink and blue was not. I did not see a big difference in the dispersion of the dye though. Definitely a good value for the price if you want a lot of colors.
