> 3 dayI bought this for my 10 year olds slumber party and it was a huge success!! I didnt allow the kids to use the dye bc its too cold to go outside, and the squirt bottles work but if you squirt too hard it just rolls off the shirt and makes a mess. I let the kids pick their own colors, and they all chose the same design, and the finished product was perfect! I made 4 shirts before i ran out of any colors using this design. I still have multiple bottles with half or less left, but you can only get about 3-5 shirts per bottle depending on the design you choose, if you really want to saturate it and not have faded and blank spots all over. For example all 4 girls wanted the turquoise but i had to improvise with blue on one bc the turquoise ran out...the picture is before they were washed

> 3 dayI loved this the dye kit and we had lots of fun using it! It was definitely easy to use, but some of the bottles would leak when you would shake it up to mix, which wasnt fun, luckily we shook them all in the sink and I was ready for it so I could try to direct the splatter. Not a deal breaker, but I wasnt in love with that part. It came with everything we needed including directions on how to tie the shirts for each effect. We tie dyed everything we could get our hands on, even some white turtle neck style face masks for the kids to make their masks personalized and fun :) the colors did fade more than I expected on the first wash, but not nearly as bad as rit dye or anything. They are still dark and bright! ( To be fair Im comparing to a brand I previously used, I cant remember the name, that didnt fade at ALL after washing, even after a few years) so this isnt the BEST out there, but its a very close runner up, price was great, and we had a super fun family day doing this together, that ran into the next day when we got to unwrap them and see our creations. I accidentally bought two, and instead of returning the second, Im keeping it for a rainy day with the kids :) I do highly recommend.

> 3 dayI bought the dye so my students can create tye-dye socks and t-shirts for World Downs Syndrome Day. The kids had a lot of fun twisting and tying and putting color on the material. We let it all sit for 24 hours and then washed the products. (Cotton t-shirts and socks) When they came out of the wash ALL of the socks were white and blue only. All of the red, yellow, and green colors were washed out. I re-read the directions (I am a teacher) and made sure that the instructs that came with the product were followed to the letter. We prewashed the fabric and dried it and added water to the dye bottle, filling to line. (note how it does not say a particular temperature) Then it says to apply dye to the fabric (doesnt say anything about using rubber bands to create the tye-dye effect). We then wrapped and covered the fabric overnight and rinsed it well with water as instructed. Here it says to cut rubber bands (note, nowhere before does it say to wrap the fabric using the bands). Not even in the tips does it suggest anything. So before you lose money on this product as I did - according to their website it says: 1) Use WARM water to mix the dye. Hot water will break it down, and cold water will cause it to undissolved. 2) Use rubberbands on fabric to help create a nice pattern. 3) SOAK MATERIAL IN VINEGAR to saturate BEFORE you apply the dye. 4) Use dye to create patterns 5) Let sit overnight or up to 24 hours. 6) Rinse in COLD water thoroughly to remove the excess dye. 7) Washing in WARM water is the final step. Hope yours works out well using these revised steps from the internet. I am truly disappointed in the Tulip brand that I came to know and love for years.

> 3 daySuper simple tie dye kit. Came with enough dye for the 4 shirts we did and had about 6 or 7 extra bottles left over. Make sure to only fill the bottles you are using though because you are supposed to use them about a day after you mix the dye. Only problem we had was with the green dye. It wouldn’t mix with the water and had small orange specks in it. We tried to cover the orange with blue but I would recommend trying the color out on a napkin or something first. The blue tie dye shirt was damp when I colored it and the pink and blue was not. I did not see a big difference in the dispersion of the dye though. Definitely a good value for the price if you want a lot of colors.

> 3 dayI tie dye shirts with my grandsons every summer. I love the color selection. The bright color stays after many washings in cold water. The plastic table covering is way too small so be prepared to supply a larger one to totally cover your surface.
