> 3 dayI have a bunch of old white T’s I wanted to spruce up. MAKE SURE THE SHIRT IS DAMP/WET BEFORE YOU START I PROMISE IT WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Anyways, The dye process was fine, rubber bands are too small so I used my own, the gloves had holes in them so my hands were stained, the provided table cloth was nice though I recommend dying everything you plan to dye in one sitting. It took literally forever to rinse the dye out after letting it sit for 8 hours so Halfway through (I dyed 8 shirts) i gave up hand rinsing and just threw them all in the washer and washed them with detergent and everything. The colors were a bit more muted but after an initial sink rinse and then into the washer, they didn’t bleed onto each other which was a relief. And despite the struggle, I really love my new dyed shirts and would definitely get this again.

somethin to say
> 3 dayThe kit was easy to use and had a lot of colors. The powder did leak from some of the bottles so it’s NOT perfect and it’s possible that the dye dust might get on things accidentally. The pic is after the first wash and so they are wet, but these have hardly faded after multiple washings. We did use a presoak with soda ash which I read can also help with color vibrancy and holding color. I’d buy it again! Great for bday party for sure. We made 7 kid shirts 2 woman’s tanks and 1 man’s t with dye to spare.

> 3 dayThis is a great little tie dye kit to get a large amount of fabric dyed. The bottles are a nice size and easy to prepare. It comes with rubber bands but I would but extra if youre using for a party. I also would buy different gloves to use, but the ones in the kit will suffice if need be. I would personally buy the 1oz squeeze bottles to fill and 4 or 5 to give to each child to use if I were using for a party or group, I would find it difficult for everyone to use if only sharing the main bottles and they can be harder to control the amount- easily using up most of one color if you have one that isnt mindful of what they are doing. Other than that, great value for the money

> 3 dayFor only $14.00, this tie-dye kit is a must! Each color is in fairly small bottle, but the variety more than makes up for it. I was able to dye about 16 28” 100% cotton Tea towels using the entire kit. (Note that it’s short of the “30 projects” the box claims. Clearly, what they count as a single project must have been much smaller, maybe something like baby onesies. I would estimate this kit would make about 15+/- kids t-shirts, depending on size and how much dye gets wasted if drippings are not collected in buckets.) I let my towels sit for ~20 hours for maximum intensity (the instructions recommend 6-8 hours). They did fade a bit when washed, which is to be expected since no mordant is used, but the colors are still acceptably vibrant. My only criticism of the kit is that the pinks/reds/oranges (5 colors) are way too similar to each other and make the overall kit very red-heavy. Coral and Orange are nearly identical, as are Pink and Fuschia, which both look like diluted red Dye rather than nicely saturated pinks. Teal and Turquoise are also very similar, but the range of blues and greens is much more dynamic. The purples were fair and it definitely felt like there wasn’t enough yellow. Overall, this kit gets two thumbs up. It’s exceedingly easy to use for both children and adults. For the price, it was absolutely worth it!

> 3 dayWe used this and made 4 adult shirts and 4 kids shirts, with due left over! It just depends on how many people want to use one color, because we did sort of run out of colors in the middle of using them.... but then, we were also letting a 4, 6, and 7 year old use them so it was all good. This kit really has everything you need, EXCEPT the table cloth is kind of a joke. Its big enough to do one shirt at a time, but if you have multiple people dyeing at once, youll need to put something larger down. The sheet with directions on how to do certain techniques was great cause neither mom had done this before. Everyone loves how their shirts came out, and we definitely see the kids asking to do this again like.... every summer.

> 3 dayThis was a great set for the price! Lots of different colors, although I do wish there was a few different blues!

Greater than one weekUltimately, you need a lot of each color to really do anything. The description is misleading. Really, this could only serve a couple shirts. Id rather have more of fewer colors, then so little of so many colors. I bought it to use with my students, and it was barely enough of the fun colors

> 3 dayOur family used this kit to make some shirts. We made 4 shirts and still have many colors to use for future projects. I was amazed at how well the tie dye turned out! Just like the pictures included with the instructions. We washed the shirts according to the instructions, and the colors have remained vibrant and permanent over several washings. It’s a messy project, so I would recommend working on it outside. But it was super fun, we have great shirts, and we can’t wait to do more. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe colors turned out fabulous! One of the best kits I’ve used for tie dying. Easy to use and I loved how bright the colors were after washing the shirts. We made 6 shirts and there was plenty of color left to do more shirts. We colored 3 adult shirts, 1 teen shirt, and 2 little kid sized shirts. It was fun for all. I highly recommend this kit. Easy for all ages. We didn’t like the gloves as they were not as thick as we’d like, but it mostly kept the color off our hands. So overall it was a fabulous set. I included a picture of the finished shirts to show the bright colors.
