I did not return the item after finding it damaged because I was on a very tight time constraint to get the shirts done. However I was disappointed how the product came. The box was very dented up upon opening the amazon shipping box. The orange dye top had come off and the dye powder had leaked all over the other bottles. I was unable to use a whole set of the rubber bands because they were getting orange dye on everything. The shirts were soaking in a solution in the sink and the powder from the open orange container came off of my hands and fell onto the shirts. No matter what I did, the powder dye was everywhere. I had to dye the shirts darker than planned to cover up all the orange mess. They ended up turning out great, but it was such a hassle because of the bottle being opened. Open the product away from your shirts, just in case!

This was a great set for the price! Lots of different colors, although I do wish there was a few different blues!

I think I like Tie dye more than my students and my own kids, I’ve bought this pack so many times. It has sooooo much dye it can easily cover more than 5 people. I love This set

This is a great little tie dye kit to get a large amount of fabric dyed. The bottles are a nice size and easy to prepare. It comes with rubber bands but I would but extra if youre using for a party. I also would buy different gloves to use, but the ones in the kit will suffice if need be. I would personally buy the 1oz squeeze bottles to fill and 4 or 5 to give to each child to use if I were using for a party or group, I would find it difficult for everyone to use if only sharing the main bottles and they can be harder to control the amount- easily using up most of one color if you have one that isnt mindful of what they are doing. Other than that, great value for the money

I appreciated how easy these dyes were and the guide for how to create the patterns. The gloves werent great, so I would use better quality ones. I had a lot of fun tie-dyeing.

Super simple tie dye kit. Came with enough dye for the 4 shirts we did and had about 6 or 7 extra bottles left over. Make sure to only fill the bottles you are using though because you are supposed to use them about a day after you mix the dye. Only problem we had was with the green dye. It wouldn’t mix with the water and had small orange specks in it. We tried to cover the orange with blue but I would recommend trying the color out on a napkin or something first. The blue tie dye shirt was damp when I colored it and the pink and blue was not. I did not see a big difference in the dispersion of the dye though. Definitely a good value for the price if you want a lot of colors.

This was SO easy to use! Read the directions as it applies best to cotton and silk and one other natural fabric. PREWASH your items that you are going to dye. We picked the swirl design for all 4 boys that were dying shirts. Seemed the easiest. It was SO easy to make/mix the dyes but be careful, aggressive shaking to mix caused some drips to fly out. I thought for sure these would fade a ton, but they are VERY concentrated!!!! Let your shirts sit and “marinate” in their color for 6-8 hours! All of the kids were happy with their shirts!!! If we do it again, I might get some backup dye. (We ran out of a few colors. Just depends on how liberally you apply) would definitely buy again or recommend.

I bought 2 of these for a sleepover party of 6 six year old girls. I knew it would be messy so we set it up in the driveway and the kids LOVED it! It took a little time to set up (fill the bottles with water), but I liked the squirt bottles. The gloves are a bit useless, but half the fun is getting dyed yourself. The dye requires a good bit of saturation to get the desired effects, but overall I recommend. I also did not need to even open the second box I bought.

We used this and made 4 adult shirts and 4 kids shirts, with due left over! It just depends on how many people want to use one color, because we did sort of run out of colors in the middle of using them.... but then, we were also letting a 4, 6, and 7 year old use them so it was all good. This kit really has everything you need, EXCEPT the table cloth is kind of a joke. Its big enough to do one shirt at a time, but if you have multiple people dyeing at once, youll need to put something larger down. The sheet with directions on how to do certain techniques was great cause neither mom had done this before. Everyone loves how their shirts came out, and we definitely see the kids asking to do this again like.... every summer.
