Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit 15-Color Party Kit, Standard, Rainbow

Our family used this kit to make some shirts. We made 4 shirts and still have many colors to use for future projects. I was amazed at how well the tie dye turned out! Just like the pictures included with the instructions. We washed the shirts according to the instructions, and the colors have remained vibrant and permanent over several washings. It’s a messy project, so I would recommend working on it outside. But it was super fun, we have great shirts, and we can’t wait to do more. Highly recommend!

Ultimately, you need a lot of each color to really do anything. The description is misleading. Really, this could only serve a couple shirts. Id rather have more of fewer colors, then so little of so many colors. I bought it to use with my students, and it was barely enough of the fun colors

Created tie dye shirts with my after school class and this kit was so simple to use! I bought two kits to make sure everyone had choices with color. I will purchase this again!

The colors turned out fabulous! One of the best kits I’ve used for tie dying. Easy to use and I loved how bright the colors were after washing the shirts. We made 6 shirts and there was plenty of color left to do more shirts. We colored 3 adult shirts, 1 teen shirt, and 2 little kid sized shirts. It was fun for all. I highly recommend this kit. Easy for all ages. We didn’t like the gloves as they were not as thick as we’d like, but it mostly kept the color off our hands. So overall it was a fabulous set. I included a picture of the finished shirts to show the bright colors.

Worked pretty well for a project we wanted to do with our labcoats. Started to fade with a few washes but that might have just been the chemicals from the lab who knows lol.

Had a blast using this tie dye kit with boys ranging in ages from 4-8!! We were able to make 4 youth tee shirts, 4 bandanas, and 2 adult tank tops with dye leftover. A few recommendations: 1. Wear Rubber gloves 2. Buy bulk white bandanas to use up extra dye if you don’t want any to go to waste 3. Plan ahead and launder the items you will dye the day before 4. The instructions say to machine wash each item individually after letting the dye set. In the interest of avoiding 10 loads of laundry with only one item in each, I thoroughly (and I mean THOROUGHLY) washed and rung out each item in a utility sink with hot water. I didn’t stop rinsing until the water coming out of the shirts was almost completely clear. Then I washed all of the freshly tie dyed items together in one load and had no problems. I did wash them on their own a few more times before adding with regular laundry 5. Don’t oversaturate! 6. If working with kids, do it outside if possible All of us loved this kit and the kids can’t wait to get another one and tie dye again!!

This was surprisingly easy to use. I bought this kit as a rainy day project for my 4 kiddos (ages 9, 4, 4, 1) they were all involved and had a lot of fun. We completed 15 projects between all the kids and had enough dye left over for a few more. Youth 16- 2 shorts, 2 tshirts, 1 pants. 5T- 2 hoodies, 4 shirts, 2T- 1 dress, 3 shirts. Colors are bright and holding well after washing. While we are all far from experts, everyone is happy and excited with how their new clothes turned out. They’re already asking for another kit and want to wear their creations tomorrow. (For better results than ours I would suggest watching a YouTube DIY video on how to fold and twist your material to make clearer designs.)

I bought this for my 10 year olds slumber party and it was a huge success!! I didnt allow the kids to use the dye bc its too cold to go outside, and the squirt bottles work but if you squirt too hard it just rolls off the shirt and makes a mess. I let the kids pick their own colors, and they all chose the same design, and the finished product was perfect! I made 4 shirts before i ran out of any colors using this design. I still have multiple bottles with half or less left, but you can only get about 3-5 shirts per bottle depending on the design you choose, if you really want to saturate it and not have faded and blank spots all over. For example all 4 girls wanted the turquoise but i had to improvise with blue on one bc the turquoise ran out...the picture is before they were washed

Amount of colors is great but if more than 2 shirts need a color it runs out (1/2 bottle per project). Was able to do 1 sweatshirt, 3 t-shirts, and 1 tank top. Color seems to fade a bit after washing a few times. Overall good price. Just can only do 5ish items. Definitely not 30 projects. Probably will buy another kit with less colors but bigger bottles so everyone can use the color.

A bit messy but great summer activity with kids. As you can see in the photo, the dye was enough for more than 5 people. It think its perfect for 10 kids party, each gets one shirt. B U T you need to prepare huge towel to soak the extra fluieds and something to cover to floor with. The cover that came in the package was too small. Dont forget to put the cloths in water first
