> 3 dayThe colors are bold and after multiple washes, still haven’t faded out. We made probably 18 total shirts (2 2T shirts, 1 2XL, 2 L, 2 S, 11 M) out of this kit and the kit was nearly gone.

Greater than one weekWe love this kit! I’ve been buying it for the last three summers. Just this week my kids dyed 6 bath towels and still had dye left over! The week before we had this same kit and dyed 10 adult sized t-shirts, 4 dish towels, and again dye left over. If you’ve got a group, this is definitely the way to go. All of the towels and tees turned out amazing! It’s now a summer tradition in our house :)

> 3 dayFamily vacation fun. I took these to do on a extended family vacation. We ended up getting about 30-35 shirts out of this set. Directions were easy to follow. Not enough gloves for everyone. Make sure to purchase extra if using with a large group.

> 3 dayI read multiple reviews that said the packs didn’t make as many products as the package specified so I specifically bought more than we needed. We made 90 adult t shirts using 12 16oz bottles. While we still had some dye left in each bottle, one set definitely wouldn’t have been enough to make the amount suggested on the box.

> 3 dayIf you are having a tie dye party these are great. By FAR the best deal regarding the amount you get for the money. Easier to mix because powder is already in the bottle. Typically, you need to add the powder from a packet into the smaller bottles. Less messy. It is a lot though, so this is only for multi projects at once.... or some big projects. Colors are basic, but can supplement with some smaller kits with more variety if needed. Compare the amt to other kits & it’s obvious this is the most economical BUT not for just a few people - makes a lot. Have had good luck with Tulip tie dye in general. DON’T forget to wear the gloves from start (mixing) to finish. It does stain hands & you will look like you have dirty hands/nails for several days if you don’t. Used at daughters tie dye party w/ ten 13 yr olds tie tying men’s t-shirts to sleep in and face masks. Had plenty.

03-06-2025I Love tulip dye. This is the second time I purchased this kit and I love how big the bottles are. I prefer this kit over the small 4oz bottle because you can dye more at once without having to remix or worry about running low on dye. I used this kit to dye a plush robe (I knew it would use a lot of dye) because of the thickness and I still had so much dye leftover to make socks and three tee shirt. TIP leave the dye sit for several days. Ive learned the longer the dye sits, the more saturated and vivid the colors.

> 3 dayI wanted a kit that was easy to use with minimal mess. This kit got great reviews, so I went with this (plus it was one of very few available at the time). I liked that all you had to do was add water to the bottles and shake. My kids had some trouble squirting it out on the right spots on their shirts, since the dye comes out very quickly as soon as you tip the bottle over. The colors were vibrant and we made a lot of really cool shirts. The only bummer is that despite letting them sit and fully dry, running them through a dryer cycle, and then washing them, the colors still bled and all of our shirts wound up having a purple tint where they were previously white. We had fun using the kit, though. We might try again.
