Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Kit Block Party 16oz 8 Color Tie Dye, Rainbow

Awesome product. Vivid & bright colors. The longer that you let items soak in dye the better the color is. As long as directions are followed items do not fade. Can make many items from this tye dye kit. Have made 26 shirts, 14 tank tops, 2 sheet sets & 4 pillow cases, 3 hoodies & a jacket & still have dye left!!! I did not mix all the dye at 1 time. I poured some dye out into other bottles & just mixed what was needed for that certain project.

Colors faded a bit after wash probably was more operator error more then any thing else

We had a big tie dye party over the summer, and this was great for all ages (3-70). We used the kit for a total of 12 (kids and adult sizes) shirts, a pair of jeans, a bath towel, and 4 pair of socks. The color bottles were huge, and we could have done even more projects! Well worth the money.

The item arrived with the red container open, the powder dye was on every thing. Messy !!!!!

Had enough for a class of 19 students and 3 adults. I still could have done at least 7 to 10 more shirts. Colors very vivid all depends on how you rinse. Noticed my shirts were brighter (let them sit overnight and rinsed with rubberbands then washed) and than my teammate (sat for 8 to 10 hours and rinsed without rubber bands and washed and dried).

I got this for our craft day this summer, the grand kids come over two days a week. This is one of our better projects. I did use the the Rit Color Stay Dye Fixative. Seems to work well with the Tulip dye.

It was my first time to tie dye, and Ive been very pleased with the outcome. It was easy and loads of fun with the squirt bottles; there was plenty of the product for several shirts. Ive worn and washed my shirts several times and so far the color has held true.

Overall, this dye kit included good instructions and worked well. Unfortunately for us, one of the dye container lids came off in shipment. With the grandkids in Illinois from Tx, there was no time to exchange the defective kit. I was shocked at the difficulty cleaning dye powder from the instruction sheet, all containers, and rubberbands. I actually discarded the gloves as they were thin plastic and difficult to clean. Even weirder is that I had no idea I was inhaling the dye powder. Nose blowing post-cleanup was colorful and a bit concerning. Our grandkids tee shirts came out beautifully, though.

Good kit! Colors were great, vivid, didnt wash out at ALL! Bottle tops werent that secure, which was a little scary working with dye, but all went well. That is the only reason it isnt 5 stars. Super fun, good directions included.
