> 3 dayI wanted a kit that was easy to use with minimal mess. This kit got great reviews, so I went with this (plus it was one of very few available at the time). I liked that all you had to do was add water to the bottles and shake. My kids had some trouble squirting it out on the right spots on their shirts, since the dye comes out very quickly as soon as you tip the bottle over. The colors were vibrant and we made a lot of really cool shirts. The only bummer is that despite letting them sit and fully dry, running them through a dryer cycle, and then washing them, the colors still bled and all of our shirts wound up having a purple tint where they were previously white. We had fun using the kit, though. We might try again.

> 3 dayAwesome product. Vivid & bright colors. The longer that you let items soak in dye the better the color is. As long as directions are followed items do not fade. Can make many items from this tye dye kit. Have made 26 shirts, 14 tank tops, 2 sheet sets & 4 pillow cases, 3 hoodies & a jacket & still have dye left!!! I did not mix all the dye at 1 time. I poured some dye out into other bottles & just mixed what was needed for that certain project.

> 3 dayColors were super vibrant and stained the shirts well. The instructions were really easy and basically idiot proof. My son and i died about 2 sundresses, a sheet, and 5 toddler shirts and had over half the bottles still left. I would recommend getting a pack nitrile gloves to wear because the gloves included are poor quality and hard to hold the bottles cause theyre so slick.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this kit. If you are looking for a good kit for a really good price, THIS is it. Retail stores have kits with a few 4 and 5 oz bottles for the same price as this kit that includes 16 oz bottles! Primary colors mean you can mix to get the colors you want. These colors are vibrant when paired with a soda ash prewash on your fabrics. I didnt use all of my premixed dye at first, so I placed my bottles in the refrigerator and used them again every weekend for a month. (I was dying projects for my wedding and only had time on the weekends.) I did not notice a difference in color vibrancy. I have purchased this kit twice now, as it is truely the best bang for your buck as far as premixes are concerned.

> 3 dayWe had so much fun making tie dye shirts with these! The colors are so vibrant and you get SO much! We made 10 medium kid t shirts and 2 adult xl shirt with a ton left over. We could’ve doubled and still had extra. I would advise to dampen shirts before you begin so the colors soak and spread easier. Other than that, have fun with it! There is no wrong way to tie dye. We had a blast!

Greater than one weekThis goes a long way! The extra large bottles give you enough for a crowd, even if young dyers get over zealous.

> 3 dayThese are so much bigger than I thought. 16 oz. Bottles made five onesies for my 18 month old, a dress, two queen size sheets, and a large sweater. And there is still a ton left over. If you use 100% cotton (and we did them in the evening and left it overnight) the colors turn out very bright and vibrant.

> 3 dayIve used Tulip dye and other brands several times in the past year or so as I have experimented with tie dye. Im far from expert, but I have successfully made about a dozen various shirts. Tulip dye has been easy to use and has actually resulted in successful shirts. The colors, Duke, the colors! I have tried other brands that ended up washing out during the rinse process, even after being left on the shirts for extra time, which is always a disappointment. Every time I have used Tulip dyes, however, I have had excellent results. This kit advertises that it should be able to make 72 products. That would surprise me. I did tie dye with a very large group (about 90 kids) and we went through this after about 25 kids. Fortunately we had extra kits. The other thing about this specific pack is that, if it is supposed to be good for 72 products, I dont understand why so fee rubber bands are included. There are enough bands for maybe 5 shirts, max. Certainly you could reuse them, but if youre making them in bulk or with a large group, youre going to need a lot more rubber bands. And gloves.
