Greater than one weekSuper easy instructions and pretty good, vibrant colors if you follow instructions well. I preached my items and left damp from rinse cycle to dye. Be sure to saturate well and let sit in a plastic bag/zip lock to develop colors. Best to wash individually or with similar colors in washing machine so colors dont stain lighter dyes.

> 3 dayThis was a great project for my grand daughter and myself. It really was a great time and we did a time laps video of us making the shirts. I would suggest leaving on as long as you can but even after only 12 hours they were great. I just about could live it Tie Dye shirts forever. I had read some things about using Soda Ash first and I did get some but it turns out for Tulip Brand like this I guess it is in it already and not needed. Just get damp, wrap up however, bag it for a day and rinse out like crazy. I did wash with other like shirts with a tiny bit of color safe bleach to help set the dye and seemed to work great.

> 3 dayBought 2 big tie dye kits and planned to print out the free printable for decorating and the after care instructions for tie dye to stick on each bag for the kids to take them home and wash. I tried on my phone at first, then I got my computer and tried downloading them. I never could get them downloaded so I just had to make do with what I had or could find/buy somewhere else. So be prepared to make your own instructions for kids to take home. Also several bottles I noticed had slits/cuts so as I filled the bottles I noticed and had to hurry and put the bottle into a plastic cup to prevent dye from getting all over the place. Other than that it was a fun tie dye party. But very misleading as it says several times and there are several Tulip videos that mentions the printable.. but as I stated never could download. It kept saying something along lines of this site is for sale? So I just stopped messing with it.

Greater than one weekI really wanted to love this set. And to be clear, my 9 year old daughter DID love it. My main complaint is that the dye bottles leak. They leak at the screw topped closure for the bottle and 3 were actually cracked at the neck and as such, leaked even more than the others. Because they were leaking, we tried not to shake them too much when mixing the dye powder and water because it was making a huge mess. I think there were large chunks of unmixed dye in some of the colors and you can see that in the end result. However. My kid had a blast and it doesnt notice at all. So still a win

> 3 dayMy 2 & 4 yos and I made T-shirts using these dyes. They were extremely easy to use. You just add water and shake! We did this outside using a step stool covered in a plastic bag with paper towels on top and then had a wire cookie drying rack that we worked on (definitely needed) and I used some kid nitrile gloves that I had for my little ones. Each child picked two colors and that was enough dye for them each to do two xs childrens shirts (ie two dye bottles -> two shirts). I also picked two colors and that was not quite sufficient to do two adult shirts in the dry tie-dying style (I needed just a bit more dye). We let them sit overnight wrapped in cling wrap, rinsed them out with a hose on the lawn, washed in hot water in the washing machine and then dried. I havent had them bleed with that treatment onto other clothes. The colors are VIVID and the red is RED (not pink) and the dark blue is a darkish blue. Well be doing more in the future for other projects! (xmas gifts for grandparents of reusable grocery bags, tote bags, shirts, etc). This was my first attempt and I LOVED 3 of the 6 shirts we made (they looked professional and store-bought), and liked another 2. The last one was ahh but it had some mistakes made (wrong-colored ink getting through since I didnt change the paper towels under the rack between projects). For my kids I cut plastic bags to add holes for arms & head and put that on them to keep them safe in case they went crazy with the dye. It wasnt necessary but was good piece of mind. The 4yo didnt need much supervision but the 2yo needed some help.

Greater than one weekmy father recently passed so to lift our spirits my mother, sister, and I had a “tie dye party” and bought two of these kits and it was great! the colors are INCREDIBLE!! There is such a wife variety and they are so fun and vibrant! Even after washing they look great! The product is super easy to use just rubberband your tie dye item of choice then fill the color dispenser with some water and shake and tie dye!! Super fun activity for all ages! I’ll have to buy some more!

> 3 dayThis kit yielded 5 gorgeous, vibrant shirts. We have a bit of dye left and could probably do a few more if we werent extremely selective of the colors. I do think they overrepresented the amount of shirts you could do, but I really oversaturated ours because I wanted bright, beautiful colors so Im sure that was a factor. The kit contains everything you need other than the shirts including even a drop cloth. It also includes a sheet showing you some techniques. We turned to YouTube prior to making the shirts for some additional ideas. Each of us chose our own colors and technique and made our own shirts representing our individual styles. It was a great family activity! My teenage son wanted to put forth the least amount of effort he could so he chose the easiest method of just scrunching up the shirt. I loosely tied a band around it so it stayed scrunched and we put just one color of dye on it. It turned out gorgeous with barely any effort, almost zero! I think this kit is great for beginners, groups, parties, anyone really who wants to get creative and create a wearable work of art. Even teenagers!

Greater than one weekI loved this kit and for it being half off, you couldn’t beat it. I do wish that there were two blacks and 2 navy blues, as there were doubles in every other color but those. I kind of got myself in a pickle when tie-dying blue and black because there were not doubles, the bottles are very small so if you’re working on a larger project you would definitely need refills
