> 3 dayThese are great! Vibrant colors my kids loved it! But I bought the set for my two kids knowing we didn’t have enough tie dye to use all of it at once but I mixed it all so they could have a variety of colors expecting to use it again in a few weeks or something. But after I read the directions fully it said to use it all at once because the dye will start losing color. My fault for not reading fully but j would have had them pick a few colors each and mix only those for the first time and leave the rest unmixed. Lesson learned.

Greater than one weekMy husband and I were looking for fun date nights to do during quarantine and after googling and searching around found out we always wanted to do our own tie-dye projects! We bounced around on different clothing items with the galaxy one but we really wanted to make a tie-dye sheet set for our king mattress. These kits are easy to use, there are a TON of fun tutorials on youtube and everywhere, and we continue to use the kits to make shirts/sweats/bedding/ and are tempted to do a wall tapestry next. The colors are super vibrant, but make sure to wear gloves and black clothing so it doesnt stain because it absolutely will, the wash out process isnt painful, and after one wash I havent had any bleeding in my other laundry. Highly recommend all this brands kits.

> 3 dayIm pretty sure a year ago Walmart had these same kits for $10. But of course I cant find them there now. So based off Amazon options, this was a good buy for the money. I purchased this for my daughters birthday party and the kit was used on 10 youth size shirts. The bottles were empty by the end of the day. Now admittedly the kids were allowed free reign and most just squirted swirls on the shirts. But I imagine projects would have to be strictly monitored and regulated for efficiency and size of you wanted to get 36 projects out of it. Maybe 36 hats or socks? I did appreciate the ease of use. Powder is in the bottles, just add water and shake. Dipping would need additional containers, but squirting turned out some fun designs. Kit comes with cheap rubber bands and 1 size fits all cheap gloves. A little disappointed that the webpage says the dyes lose their vibrancy after being mixed with water and sitting for a while. It turned out not to be an issue since they were all used up. But if I actually had leftover, it wouldve been nice to be able to store it for another day. But may thats too much to ask for the price. Overall, met my needs and was a huge hit at the party.

> 3 dayWhy my first comment was flagged is beyond me Amazon is probably the worst distributor tulip does not need them? Their products are amazing.

> 3 dayMaking tie dye t-shirts is a highlight of our camping trip in the summer. Everyone can participate, and the “unveiling” of the shirt when it’s rinsed is a lot of fun. It’s a mess, but we plan for that, and the kids proudly wear their shirts that they made afterwards. It’s hard for the kids to wait until the next day to unwrap the shirts because they have to sit for 12 hours or so but it adds to the anticipation

> 3 dayI’ve never done tie dye and my 5 year old was helping. It was easy for all of us to do and everything we needed was there.

> 3 dayI was making shirts for camp, for 10 adults and 20+ kids. We did adults the first night to figure it all out. We were messy with it, putting too much dye on them, with dye dripping off of them. Several adults liked blue and green, and we used up all the light blue and most of the pink in one of the kits, but otherwise had at least half of the other colors leftover. When we did it with the kids the next day, we had them drop it very carefully, a few drops at a time. Much much less messy, much more controlled, no dye running all over, and PLENTY of all colors. We just wasted a lot the first time. With 30 shirts, and 2 kits, we still had half bottles of a lot of colors. Details: in both cases, we twisted and handed the shirts, then dyed them. Then we put each shirt in a ziplock bag, sealed, for 8ish hours. After that, we rinsed each stilled twisted shirt with water until it ran mostly clear, then put them all in a Rubbermaid tub with water and several cups of vinegar for about a half hour. After the vinegar, we drained them, unbanded them, and threw them all in the wash together. They came out beautifully. Tips: wear gloves. If kids are doing it, wear aprons or paint shirts. If adults are doing it, consider aprons or paint shirts. Consider doing it outside. We did it on an old picnic table and it was fine. There is a thin tablecloth in the kit, if you’re on a nice, big table, cover it well.

> 3 daySuper easy instructions and pretty good, vibrant colors if you follow instructions well. I preached my items and left damp from rinse cycle to dye. Be sure to saturate well and let sit in a plastic bag/zip lock to develop colors. Best to wash individually or with similar colors in washing machine so colors dont stain lighter dyes.
