So far we love this lock box. It is perfect to fit into a hidden drawer (2.75 in tall) in a night stand. The box is 2.25 inches tall so it fits great. Two pistols fit well. The keys light up red as soon as you push one making it easy to put in the code in the dark. The lid pops open and a small light comes on inside. We have not used the cable to anchor it down. Our concern is not theft just keeping small hands off the weapons. There is a key incase the battery dies but we charged it in late December and its still working late April. I am buying a second one for our guest bedroom. Between our guests guns/medications/valuables and our children, I think its a great investment.

So i wanted the compact one but apparently theyre not available anymore, i ordered this to see if it would fit. As you can see from the pictures there isnt even a single millimeter of space left. Not necessarily a bad thing as my gun wont move around in the safe. You can fit a sig sp2022 with an extended mag , tlr1 and an extra mag in it comfortably. You can also fit The gun and a stack of cash in it. The buttons feel somewhat cheap, not too great of a click, and i thought the vaultek would light up red. Not that big of a deal. But would have liked to buy the compact one to see if i liked it better. This will do for now.

The safe is quite good. Id recommend the following improvements. 1. Add 1/4 to each internal dimension for better fit f a gun and 4 magazines. 2. Two latches would be better than one. 3. A 10-digit key pad would be better than limiting a code to a choice of 5 digits only. Id like to use numbers 6, 7, 8, 9 and 0 as well.

Easy to set up. Like everything about it so far.

Was a bit worried, that this may be a bit small. Glad I measured before ordering. Didnt have a lot of room to spare, but it holds a full size .40 S&W comfortably and a few extra magazines. Just made it. I would measure first if considering. Battery life has been good, and I like the fact that when it wears out (Hopefully a long time from now), it has a replaceable battery. Its lighted when opening, and seems simple. Thats what I wanted...Simple and secure. I also wanted a key option if there was an electronics failure. This one came with two keys. I like it.

Easy to use. Easy to set up. Great buy. Fit my full sized xdm45acp with mag and extra - larger than it says in the description.

i really love this little safe, it constructed strong and I enjoy the portability, I can move it from room to room or even put it in my trunk when transporting lt. I going to a se ond one to mount it it in my car.

I purchased the PROVE version 3 months ago and it is fantastic. Durable and reliable. I have yet to have a malfunction with key illumination and code entry when opening. The security cable is a great feature as I was able to anchor the safe for anti-grab & steal protection. The size is perfect for storing my Sig P220 Combat loaded with a 10 round mag and storage for an extra 10 mag with room to spare. I would recommend this to every responsible gun owner for solid peace of mind firearm storage.

Just got these in and was immediately impressed. Solid piece of equipment. My guns are secure now outside my big safe and will be easy to get to in case of an emergency. It fits my full-size Beretta 90two and my wife’s Springfield 9mm sub-compact. So, wife happy...check. Granddaughter who is now starting to explore our house is safe from our home defense weapons...check check. My weapons are now behind Vaultek security in case a break in happens while we’re away; keeping stolen guns off the street...check check check.

I had this VE20 safe for over two weeks. It just works flawlessly. I didn’t care for the finger print readers or Bluetooth. I just wanted to have a secured place to stow my Glock 34 get 5 with a tac light and a red dot sight with easy access and keep sticky fingers out. Keep in mind this is a large gun. As you can tell from the photo it fits with room to spare even with an additional mag. The setup was easy And it fits well in my night stand drawer. It includes an internal light which goes on when open and shuts off after a short time to conserve the battery. The safe comes with everything you need. Two keys, a charging cable and plug also the security cable even screws if you wish to mount it on the bottom to something. The interior of the safe has nice foam on the top door and the base to keep everything protected. I’m very happy with this purchase.
