Victorinox 12 Inch Fibrox Pro Slicing Knife with Granton Blade

Love this knife for what it is. It has become my second most used knife, behind my laser. When I let my friends use it, the only thing I have to worry about is them taking it home. With my expensive knives, Im worried about them abusing them. Not this gem. It can take all the abuse you can throw at it. It is great for slicing meats, tomatoes, etc. The blunt tip makes it not ideal for chopping onions, but works great for 2 of the 3 cuts. I just use a small paring knife for the cross cut portion.

High quality, very sharp! Makes slicing meat easy! I highly recommend getting a blade protector for it. Learned that the hard way. Lol.

Ive looked at these online for a loooong time. Im a knife snob who carries pocket knives that cost around the same as a nice smart phone, so Im kinda particular about blade steel, handle material, construction, etc... I bought this knife as a birthday gift for a friend who recently started smoking/bbqn large cuts of meat. I chose it based solely on the brand, and the reviews, instead of price and apearance. Cause lets face the facts, its a very basic design, its not a super steel, and a fairly low price tag compared to other knives in this category. Turns out those reviews were right! This thing is sharp, stiff with a lil bit of flex, tons of grip on the handle on greasy situations, cleans up quick, its dishwasher safe (if thats your thing), all around great knife. Im honestly thinking of replacing my current brisket knife, which was almost triple the price. On another note, I purchased the 8 chefs knife from this collection as well, also a heck of a bargain and would recommend both knives to anyone looking for quality kitchen cutlery.

This knife is EXTREMELY sharp right out of the box--be careful! The length is perfect for what I purchased it for, cutting large turkeys or other meats. It has a nice heft to it, but is not too heavy for easy use. Highly recommended.

Although a little pricey... Im glad I purchased the Pro Slicing Knife with Granton Blade. Delivered as promised and used it last month when whole family was invited for a Prime Rib roast dinner. Blade extremely sharp and able to slice quickly any requested slice size.

Slices practically paper thin steak. Not exactly how I thought it would be shipped, but it arrived intact, and does a wonderful job. Fast shipping.

Everything Cooks Country said about it is true, it is a great knife. I really like that no matter how greasy my fingers get the handle is not slippery and is easy to hold. You can spend twice as much and not have a knife thats any better than this one.

I have bought this knife for every one of my four kids families. We all like it. Great for roasts but especially great for cutting cakes and pizzas.
