Cared for, they seem to last forever and do stay sharp. Bought these as small gifts for an exchange at a family reunion. Have been doing this for years. So everyone looks forward to getting their gift knife. 1 per family, at our annual get together. Each makes sure to grab one knife for themselves and put it away for safekeeping till the reunion is over!

I am left handed and works well for me and also works well for right handed members of my family. These happen to be the only knives I can use. Just ordered a 2nd set.

I absolutely LOVE these knives. They are VERY sharp so be very careful while doing your cutting. I want all of my knives to be the Victorinox brand! My amazing 90-year old mother will use nothing else for kitchen paring knives; she also loves them for steak knives and other occasions when she needs sharper knives than her usual flatware. It is hard to find something for this lady who has everything but she tends to lose them (dropped behind the stove, thrown out by mistake when peeling a lot of potatoes, etc) and is unable to find them locally. So finding them on Amazon has been a great delight and I can now keep her well-stocked!
