These are very sharp and well made, like all Victorinox knives. They slide right through the ripest tomato. The price is great. I have bought much more expensive knives that arent nearly as good.

Cared for, they seem to last forever and do stay sharp. Bought these as small gifts for an exchange at a family reunion. Have been doing this for years. So everyone looks forward to getting their gift knife. 1 per family, at our annual get together. Each makes sure to grab one knife for themselves and put it away for safekeeping till the reunion is over!

We have previously used various other steak knives available on the market. Most often, we found ourselves going back to the mainstay, those from Costco. This time, however, I decided to try these knives being that theyre made by a well-known Swiss company. We found that the knives are great and work/function as identified in the description. The question, which we cannot answer now is: how long will these last? I dont know. The others, we just generally toss them out after they become too dull. On the average, they lasted several years. Im hoping that these Victorinox lasts much much longer. PROS: Quality, durable, sharp CONS: None noted (yet!)

2nd time Ive ordered. I even give them away as gifts even though my mom told me years ago that a gift of a knife will cut your friendship. Well it did the opposite. Everyone loved them and me for the gift. Cuts everything, even the toughest job.

Family likes the multiple colors, which will probably come in doubly-handy when one or two start to dull before others -- itll be easy to tell which one without accidentally pulling the bad one out by mistake. Knowing myself, Im probably not going to keep sharpening this like a pocketknife or expensive chefs knife. Theyre sharp without being kid-dangerous due to the rounded tips, unlike our others which are plenty sharp but have to be extra careful with kids in the house. So these are perfect for every-day/casual. My second Victorinox for the kitchen, after buying a huge bread knife as well. I know there has to be a reason for the cheapy looking plastic handles - maybe the texture makes them less slippery - but theyre not much to look at & put in a block always on display. Didnt care as much with these because the colors advertise that were not looking for something formal. Dont care in general - we keep them in a drawer - but because of the looks I dont know how much theyd make a great gift since they look and seem cheaply made...until you use them and see theyre anything but. Really happy with these; would order again in a heartbeat if they ever got lost/damaged, or if I just became too lazy to sharpen a set of serrated knives when they eventually dull out some years down the line. Had these for only about 6 months now but theyre still really sharp after plenty of use, so who knows when thatll be.

These knives are so sharp we use them for everything. They never seem to dull. Love them and everyone who tries them is a convert. Third time buying them.

These knives cut through all meat easily. The colors add a bit more to the table. The metal is flexible and strong, but not real thick. I would recommend these knives to my friends.
