This projector was so easy to set up and start using right away. I make presentations (to groups of 50-200 people) and it is just perfect!

Good projector for good price

This is a great projector, but I must leave a bad review. We purchased it just 3 months ago and yet it has started to have issues. The screen goes dark just a minute or so after turning it on. A red light next to the bulb indicator turns on. Then the projector shuts itself off after 30 seconds. According to the manual this indicates, lamp error in normal operation. There is a warranty which is nice and I would love to take advantage of that. However, it has been impossible to get in touch with anyone at Viewsonic. We have called there customer service line multiple times this week and recieved an automated message that they are experiencing technical difficulties and we should call later. We have sent an email to Viewsonic customer service- we recieved a response indictating, again, that they are having technical difficulties and ultimately cannot help us at this time. It is unacceptable that their customer support has been unreachable for a whole week.

Very bright under low light conditions. The only bad side is it doesn’t have a usb.

Family night is a lot of fun , projector is great

Projector has an aux audio output issue. I have to unplug and plug the 1/4 cable from the projector that leads to my stereo every time I turn it on (its mounted on the ceiling). Support offered a refund, but I dont want to wait for a new projector once they recieve my current one, which would take 2 weeks, so I bought an HDMI audio extractor.

So Ive had it a little over a month now and its been pretty decent. I know I do want to upgrade in the future but this being my first ever projector, I was satisfied. I use this instead of a TV. I hook it up to my Mac and do homework, watch movies, everything. So, Im really disappointed that yesterday the bulb blew. Its inconvenient, frustrating and just...disappointing. Great projector. Buy a bulb with it though or youll be fd like me.

I don’t own this but my buddy does and I’m probably getting one. I wanted to point out that his bulb went out rather quickly. He contacted the company and they sent him a new bulb for free and it’s been great ever since. We lived in a 3,000 sq ft loft together, and had our projectors setup next to each other for gaming.. his was WAY clearer than mine. A much brighter picture. I wanted to put this review up so people that have purchased it before know that you can contact the seller if there is an issue with the bulb.

Great product currently running on super eco mode to save lamp life. Operating on normal mode you only get 5,000 hours of life out of the lamp.. beware... the speakers are terrible. you definitely need a secondary sound system... the Images are sharp the colors are vibrant and the projector produces a very bright image even in direct sunlight... Works well with a fire stick.. you can magnify the image or decrease the image to fit a small room...3800 Lumens makes a big difference in a room full of ambient light..

This is the second projector I purchased. Hope I never have to buy another. This one is great and the pictures are crystal clear. Love it.
