Greater than one weekCompared this to one of the cheaper projectors out there that was a few hundred dollars less but clearly the brightness and the picture are worth it. So I decided to keep this one in return the other. Still a little more than I was hoping to spend, but it was worth it.

> 3 dayI purchased the product to use for a golf simulator. It worked very well in the limited time i was able to use. In the 18 months I had the product I used the product under 100 hours. Last month the lamp burned out. While the life expectancy is around 5,000 hours, the lamp is no longer covered under warranty so I have to purchase a new bulb. I know the bulb is no longer under warranty but the bulb should last more than 100 hours.

Greater than one weekSuper happy with this projector. Very bright display. One thing I will note though is that the speaker in the projector is just about worthless. If you are using this projector for movies I would recommend using a surround sound system. Set up with surround sound though, couldnt be happier.

> 3 dayI bought this projector on September 2020 for $400. Before this one, I bought a few other projectors from $100 to $300. This one definitely beats the other ones for at the first 10 months, until it started to blink terribly after 10 months of usage. Since its still under warranty, the viewsonic company send me a replacement in July 2021. However, this replacement started to have the same problem of blinking just after 2 months of usage. Im not sure whether this replacement is new, but I hope at least the bulb should be in a descent shape. Yet, it is not. I can see the bulb lifetime red light is on on the projector. I did contact the Viewsonic company again. But since my ticket was submitted a few days after 1 year later than my original purchase date on Amazon. They never respond to my ticket. I regret that I spent $400 for a project only usable for one year. It is a total disappointment.

> 3 dayThe projector is very bright, even in a room with ceiling lights. The multiple input options - HDMI, VGA - are very handy. The only downside is that the internal speaker is weak, but the audio output jack allows external speakers to be connected. Viewsonic projectors have performed well in the past.

> 3 dayI bought this for my home theater. I noticed the resolution was not any where near 1080p but I decided to purchase it due to other factors including: brightness, contrast ratio, price, menu options, and lamp life. I have owned 4K projectors before that had terrible contrast and brightness. This projector proves that resolution alone is not an important factor for a home theater projector. The total price is absolutely unbeatable. Images look bright and vivid, and you can easily see every shade of gray needed in a scenario where you’re watching a movie. There’sa feature that allows you to reduce lamp brightness (which is super helpful in a home theater where sometimes too much brightness is a bad thing (and said feature allows the lamp to run for approximately 15,000 - comparable to newer LED projectors, but with far better image quality. If you don’t have enough money to afford an expensive 4K home theater projector but still want super high image quality, this projector is your Huckleberry.
