ViewSonic 3800 Lumens SVGA High Brightness Projector for Home and Office with HDMI Vertical Keystone (PA503S)

Ordered this projector as a replacement & have been pleasantly surprised with color quality for the price. Might buy a second one.

Ended up returning the projector, I intended to use it for projection mapping however the resolution was a bit low for what I needed.

Okay so i am comparing this svga progector to my roku projector 1080p I got at walmart for 250. There are pros and cons. TO start i lovee how bright this one is. I can watch it with all the lights on and its still bright enough to see. Unlike my roku projector i had to turn lights off to get the clear view of image. A Con for this is the built in speakers on this suck compared to roku however it does allows to set up a wired home theater speakers so thats a plus depending how you view it. So i plugged in my roku stick it works fine no lag however the image resolution is pretty crappy for the distance i want. i need to put it at my top shelf which is 15 feet from wall. my roku projector could project and cover entire 8 1/2 feet 164inches and still manage a great image i couldnt see any pixles on it where as this one i can see the pixles clearly. Some might say i need to upgrade to the xga which would make pixles smaller however it wouldnt chang how small the screen size is compared to my roku where i can get that nice wide screen image at 15 feet away. A plus on this is thst it really is very quiet in comparison to my roku so im happy about that. Not that any fan bothers me i can block it out but goung from one that has noise to ome thats quiet you can really notice. So depending how you view it it will work if best if you have a smaller room smaller image and quiter area or your hooking up a wired sound system. Remote is lovely roku projector face and system was kind of crappy i didnt like remote. Oh keystone on my roku wasnt the worse ive seen but it wasnt the greatest it was a mannual 15%. Which can blur the image if its too angled. However keystone on this was digital and excellent. Jad no troubble hitting menu to adjust. Any ways long story short this wont work for me bevause i like wide and bigger tv images. But brighteness is amazing.

This projector is amazing! It is bright as a TV in normal office light. I highly recommend for any setup and especially for the price.

After going through two brandless chinese projectors in a year, it was time to spend the money on a product with a proper warranty. This thing is BRIGHT! The unit itself is very well ventilated but the fan is quiet. The remote and menu interface are easy and intuitive. I couldve gone for more hdmi ports, but at this resolution, VGA is all you really need. If you are worried that 800x600 wont be enough resolution for a home theater, think again. Media looks excellent through this unit projected onto a white wall 10 away. Dont expect to do work on your computer at this resolution, but as a media machine that frees up my pc monitor for other tasks, this shines.

The colors are awful, saturated, and washed out. A fraction of the advertised brightness. Disappointed in ViewSonic for this product.

I loved every feature of this projector but then one day, seemingly out of nowhere it stopped working. There is no customer service available to even try to troubleshoot it. Think about this as a disposable product with a short lifespan

Awesome. I bought a $160 Chinese goodee brand projector. It has good resolution however it just was not bright enough to fully enjoy, even for a budget projector. Trust me, spend the extra money. The chinese brands do not advertise the correct lumens. Stick with name brand on this as the correct specs are not hyped up like the chinese brands.

Great projector for the money! I use this only for outdoor movie nights! The picture is amazing and it’s very easy to use! I would highly recommend!
