> 3 daylong story short, I shouldve kept my previous LG monitor from Costco and just bought an external speaker. It would probably have been much cheaper. This monitor is neat for being adjustable.

Greater than one weekI like this monitor. The picture is very good and the mounting stand makes positioning the screen easy.

> 3 dayI connect MBP 2017 and this monitor using USB 3.1 cable, nothing showing on the display. HDMI connector works well.

> 3 dayDespite the ubiquity of USB-C ports on laptops in recent years—including all Apple laptops—USB-C support remains a rare feature. Seriously, I searched for hours to find one thats 1) in stock and 2) not ridiculously overpriced. So I felt incredibly lucky to find this reasonably-priced 24 display with full USB-C support and an excellent 1440p resolution! The refurbished unit I received looks and works as good as new, and the included USB-C cable works perfectly with my MacBook, charging it while receiving its video signal and connecting the monitors USB hub. The perfect minimalist setup! [As of this writing, the best deal on this monitor is the Amazon Renewed version, which has a separate product page.]

> 3 dayDespués de probar 4 monitores, la calidad de este es superior en muchos sentidos, la definición y resolución de imagen se nota con sus 2K. Muy buen brillo, calidad de sus materiales y un diseño funcional y moderno, totalmente recomendado!

Greater than one weekWASTE of money, mine is already being returned. The internal stereo speakers are utterly laughable, theyre small and shrill and pathetic. Sounds like a 90s nokia phone in a tin cup. Of course, the sound over USB Type-C cant be controlled from your device and there are NO VOLUME BUTTONS, you have to dive into the menu?!? Another lacking feature? Theres no Portrait mode switch when you rotate (like most decent monitors); you have to handle that from your device if it supports that. Really pathetic for a 2019/2020 gaming monitor, this is some budget parts-bin trash with a couple good ports soldered on. Sure, USB Type-C input gives a good clear image, BUT so do a hundred better monitors for the money. Viewsonic just lost (another) customer for good, by putting out this cut-corners garbage. DO NOT waste your money, buy something else.

> 3 dayThe monitor is used in my 3 screen workstation for CAD and pdf work. It is a good monitor with clean images. It does have this habit of giving me a black screen and no input message about once per week. My other two monitors do not. It requires me to remove power cord and plug back in to clear it. I keep using it because the price was right. This unit is a little over a year old.

> 3 dayThis monitor is AWESOME! It looks good, it was easy to set up, and the picture is great. But the best part is the USB-C. Im using a ThinkPad T16 and with this monitor, I dont need my dock or my AC adapter anymore! Now I just have a single USB-C cable coming from the monitor, I plug it into my ThinkPad, and Im ready to work! My USB mouse and USB headset are plugged into the monitor. The USB-C cable is driving the monitor, and its also charging my ThinkPad at the same time. How cool is that! If I had one suggestion about what could make this monitor better, I wish there were more USB ports on the back. There are 2 USB ports on the side, but I wish these were on the back instead, because that would help with cable management for peripherals like my mouse and headset which are always plugged into the monitor. One other thing - it comes with a USB-C cable; the product description doesnt say anything about this, and I ended up ordering a USB-C cable separately which was not needed.

07-06-2025unfortunately NOT compatible with my Mac Mini Nov. 2018. After a few tries it stopped connectingvia the adapter to the USb-C port. Also it corrupted my external hard drive.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor after a similarly-configured Lenovo monitor bricked on me only a couple months out of warranty. This ViewSonic isnt quite the looker as the Lenovo, but its ergonomically superior in some respects, and I think the screen is brighter and has better viewing angles. I also like the arrangement of the USB ports for extra peripherals just behind the screen on the users left hand side as theyre easier to access. My one complaint is about the user interface. On the front of the monitor on the lower bezel is the power button, a button that allows you to switch viewing modes, and four other menu buttons. Those four other menu buttons pull up a unified menu but serve other functions once the menu is activated (one for up, one for down, one to select, and one to exit). That all makes sense, of course, but, for the way I work, a one-button option for switching inputs would be far, far more useful than a one-button solution to switch viewing modes. Im a grown man with no time for games - this monitor is for my work. But I have two computers - my work and my personal. Ive literally never, in over a year, needed to change color/brightness settings via the viewing mode button. But I do switch inputs multiple times a day, so, having just one button to press to quickly switch inputs would make far more sense.
