> 3 dayI performed so much research on these monitors, as I have some at work and wanted some for home office. Very confusing to research these as their model numbering is difficult. First, I really like these monitors, which is why I bought x2 for home (vg2755 1080). The daisy chaining is awesome, which comes to my 1 star rating. The xx55s dont allow you to! Absolute nonsense as VS markets the awesomeness of USB-C allowing you dock the monitors to each other (which these monitors are usb-c). You have to get at least x1 xx56 and then connect a second monitor such as the xx55. But wait, there is more! Not all xx56s let you!!! It looks like the 4k version does not, but the 2k does? and what of the size differences? I am sorry to give such a low score to something I like but that marketing needs to be far more truthful in what they are advertising.

08-06-2025I had an older 19 monitor and replaced it with this one; the picture/video quality is significantly better; screen rotation works great this model has a nice set of ports for connectivity.

> 3 dayThe monitor is ok, nothing fancy. I purchased it because it was supposed to support pass-through charging for my MacBook Pro so I could cut down on the cords on my desk, after reading some of the other reviews and tech questions it sounded like the monitor would but that appears not to be the case. I even purchased a 3.1 USB-C cord but no luck. I dont think this thing puts out enough power sadly.

> 3 dayPlease be advised, you need a specific USB C cable for this monitor to work with your Macbook Pro or any laptop you have. I DID read a review that says you need a USB C 3.1 cable so I bought an Anker cable. The review on it says IT DOES transmit video but it does not. The reason why the review says so is because it pulls from all versions of the cable so there is a version that DOES work. I bought this, however, 60W USB C to USB C Cable [3.3ft, 10Gbps], iVANKY USB C 3.1 Gen 2 Cable Fast Charge with Power Delivery and 4K Video Output, Braided Type-C Video Cable, for MacBook, Chromebook Pixel, iPad Pro and More This works!

> 3 dayGreat monitor for its price, used with a 2019 MacBook Pro. Easily the best part of this monitor is the USB C connection. It allows the MacBook to charge AND provide picture using a single cable. The panel is fine. No dead pixels and picture quality is good. It has a Matte finish, which isn’t as nice as the MacBook’s glossy finish, but it’s easier to clean. I had a scratch on the screen due to shipping damage. I ordered a replacement and It came with no hassle. The monitor comes at 60hz refresh rate, so I wouldn’t recommend for gaming purposes, unless a 144hz monitor is out of budget. For $350 this monitor is great!

> 3 dayI dont know about games, but this monitor is perfect for the office. Also, it came with a USB-C 3.1 or Thunderbolt cable to connect to the computer. The cable charges the laptop, and delivers video. The stands height, swivel, and tilt adjustments are amazing. The screen can be adjusted to an inch off the desktop. That is going to help with neck strain a great deal. That is the best designed monitor stand I have ever seen. The built in USBC 3.1 Hub, and the well designed stand make this monitor a great buy.

> 3 dayFor the price this monitor is a good value. Have had Viewsonic for years and this is the best of a mid-range monitor for general use and application development. Not a gamer so cant comment on use as a gaming monitor.

07-06-2025I went back and forth between this monitor and a LG 4K monitor. This monitor definitely gets the job done and for almost half the price. I used a thunderbolt cable and the picture is amazing and keeps my MacBook charged. I would definitely recommend this monitor.

05-06-2025Pros: Text is excellent when having to view it all day Adjustments are great Color seems good USB ports on left side are nice extras for charging devices (I havent connected either of these monitors to USB for data) Cons: Really none except the buttons on the front are seemingly unlabeled as viewed from about 2 feet away so you have to memorize which is which in order to change settings such as input (I have 2 computers connected to each) Very happy with the purchases though.

> 3 dayI have Mac Pro. I used type-c data cable that came with package, and the one which I have bought separately which is designed for both power, video/audio transfers. Both didnt work. Gladly I have HDMI adaptor through with monitor is working. I am planning to return as I bought this especially for type-c.
