> 3 dayEasy to set up, and I like the frameless bezel and ergonomic design. Image quality out of the box is as expected for a QHD monitor. However, at a price of $350 I expected the sound quality from the internal speakers to be much better--its very poor. Even with monitor, computer, and online streaming app volumes set to 100% the sound is so low its difficult to hear. Frankly, I miss my 10-year-old ASUS monitor. I contacted technical support and checked all the settings they suggested without hearing any improvement. Their response was, If we were to proceed with a warranty claim we cannot guarantee that this would be a resolution to this issue. If you buy this monitor, be prepared to spend additional money for external speakers. I would not recommend this model monitor unless they improve the quality of the internal speakers.

> 3 dayI have to say that Im really pleased with these monitors. Much sharper than the 24 FHD monitors that I had before (as they should be). The lighting seems pretty even and bright. I ran the monitors through a dead/bright pixel test website and I couldnt find anything wrong with either one. The monitors came well protected. The boxes had a couple of small dents and holes in them, but everything inside was fine. I have them hooked up to a 19 Macbook Pro. I do have to say that I was just slightly apprehensive given the number of people having problems using this monitor with the MBP or Macbooks in general. But Im happy to report no issues at all here. I have one hooked up through USB-C (cable came with monitor) and merrily charging my MBP. The other is hooked up through HDMI via a USB-C hub. (HDMI also came with monitor) I assume I could hook up both through USB-C, but I dont know how the charging works in that instance. Theres also a USB A-B cable included, but thats been tossed aside for now. Anyway, great monitor. Recommended.

> 3 dayI really like this monitor. It’s a well-designed monitor with a bright, crisp display that’s going to be really tough to beat without spending significantly more money. And, even if you do decide to spend significantly more money for a better monitor, the difference in picture quality isn’t going to be a jaw dropping. Now, with all that said, once you get this monitor up and running, you will definitely need to make many adjustments to it to get it dialed in exactly the way you like it. So, plan on spending about an hour or so changing settings, making adjustments and fine tuning the picture. And, once you do that, I can’t imagine anyone being anything but happy with this monitor. If I had to complain about something, it would be about the speakers. They’re strictly utilitarian. They provide basic sound. If you want anything better than that, you’ll need to get a pair of external speakers. Which I already had, and pretty much knew I would need since the onboard speakers are, of course, extremely small. Other than the minor speaker thing, I really couldn’t be more happy with this monitor. I think it’s a very solid choice if you’re looking for a 24” budget-friendly monitor. If you have any questions about this ViewSonic monitor, please feel free to ask, and Ill try my best to answer. I hope you found this review helpful.

Greater than one weekThis is a great monitor for 2019 macbook pro. Besides the pros that other reviewers mentioned. I like to point out 3 pros It comes with a usb type c cable so no need to buy a separate usb type c cable. It has a strong sturdy base which prevent easy tip over. The power provided by the monitor is able to charge my 2019 macbook pro 15

> 3 dayMonitor performed well overall. I liked how adjustable the screen was in terms of angles and height. The only issue I had was with the Type -C interface. Regardless of the USB C cable i used (I tried many) or the monitor settings (I reset the monitor multiple times) I would inevitably hear a high pitch whine from the LCD. The whine would go away whenever I used a HDMI cord. Since I bought the monitor specifically because it had a type c interface, the particular display I received didnt work for me.

Greater than one weekDespite the ubiquity of USB-C ports on laptops in recent years—including all Apple laptops—USB-C support remains a rare feature. Seriously, I searched for hours to find one thats 1) in stock and 2) not ridiculously overpriced. So I felt incredibly lucky to find this reasonably-priced 24 display with full USB-C support and an excellent 1440p resolution! The refurbished unit I received looks and works as good as new, and the included USB-C cable works perfectly with my MacBook, charging it while receiving its video signal and connecting the monitors USB hub. The perfect minimalist setup! [As of this writing, the best deal on this monitor is the Amazon Renewed version, which has a separate product page.]
