> 3 dayI was so pleased with the first one, I bought a second. Both came up with no adjustments, drivers, or other manipulation needed. Kudos to Viewsonic.

Greater than one weekI got this to be viewed in portrait mode. Still weird to look at, as Im used to landscape mode. The image is perfect for what I need. I use this to look at pdf files and other documents so I can see more of it at once with reduced negative space.

> 3 dayThis replaced an old HP w2207. Such a difference. HDMI, 1080P, speakers about the same - just OK, a fraction of the weight, a little smaller with the same screen size. I purchased a refurb from Viewsonic for $57. Like new. I might buy a 2nd for a hobby room. This is a gift price. The old one will be re-purposed as a spare or as a replacement shared view screen for the 24/7 network and media server arrangement in the basement. That one now uses an old 15 inch lcd monitor I found at a thrift shop for $10. Its well over 20 years old.

> 3 dayThe ViewSonic VX2452MH 24 Inch 2ms 60Hz 1080p Gaming Monitor has startling color range and clarity for both at home computing and video streaming of your favorite entertainment channels. I found the monitor to be easy to set up and use with a variety of digital inputs including HDMI and traditional VGA and DVI connections. I have a dual monitor setup on my pc and look forward to purchasing another VX2452MH to replace an older monitor when it is time. Excellent monitor for the price.

> 3 dayI have no idea what happened. I just came home one day and noticed, while plugged in, the orange light wasnt on. Ive tested several outlets but nothing turns it on any more. Theres also no clear way to disassemble and see if its a PSU issue.

Greater than one weekIf you need a inexpensive basic monitor this is it. However if you want to use this to connect to multiple sources stay far away. This monitor has no ability to stay on 1 input regardless of if that input is connected. It will auto-switch to an input with a signal. This is great if you only have 1 device and having it quickly select that input for use without manually selecting that input. However if you are using the monitor for setting up or troubleshooting a second system it is a nightmare. As soon as the computer reboots it will reconnect to the other input that has a connection. There is no setting to disable the auto switch. Makes it really hard to troubleshoot a graphics card or system issue. This monitor gets 2 stars for making me take the time to write a review to highlight this feature and what a pain in the A it is. Otherwise it is a 4-5 star product for a general use monitor.

> 3 dayI already own a Viewsonic monitor and this is the second one Ive purchased because I use two monitors with my desktop PC. An old Dell monitor I used for the second one finally zapped out, so I decided to go with the same Viewsonic brand. I gave this monitor four stars because the screen on the original one has lost its brightness and now has a hazy look. I tried all the settings to correct it, but nothing worked yet. Im hoping the new one wont experience the same thing. Overall I really like this monitor.

> 3 dayMy model: ViewSonic VX2452MH 24 1080p Using for ~4 months. I needed a second monitor to extend my laptops display. For work use, I use it as a second monitor for coding and browsign internet. For home use, I use is to play games, watch sports, TV/movies/Netflix. This is my main entertainemnt display because I dont use the TV that much and this is convenient in my room. I bought this after a lot of research on TN, IPS, VA, etc. panels. TN panels have a complaint of having untrue colors at a wider angle like more than 160 degrees. Even though I am not using it at that wide angle, I dont see any color distortion. Resolution is really good (1920 x 1080) and its really nice to have a lot of space for multiple windows instead of switching. Its very easy to assemble too; it took about 10 minutes. Great monitor overall and worth the price (I bought it at $120). I would recommend it for any use case since there is a 22 and 27 variant too.

> 3 dayI purchased this as the display component to a new PC build I was working on, which ended up never coming to fruition, and as such, I returned it. However, I still have some things to say. When I was looking for a solid, affordable 1080p monitor, this model immediately caught my eye, namely for its relatively high average rating and its above par response time (2ms vs the standard 5). I decided to buy it after reading several strongly positive reviews, praising its brightness, color reproduction accuracy as well as its viewing angles, the descriptions of which made this display seem a little too good to be true. As it turns out, I was mostly right. It came very well packaged, and with a plethora of cables to boot (DVI, VGA, and aux), which gave me a great first impression. As I set it up (which was a very straightforward process), I immediately noticed that the plastic bezel styling appeared somewhat gaudy and notably cheap, which was the first aspect of many in this item to disappoint. I decided I could live with this, so long as the quality of the screen justified it. Sadly. I cannot say that it did. After hooking it up to my machine via DVI, I was instantly let down by the viewing angles, which were so bad that any conceivable position I could take in front of the panel left one or more sizable portions of the screen incongruently colored and lit. I tried the other cable configurations, with the same result across all - utter mediocrity. The brightness was also a fairly large let-down, being decent at best in certain color modes, to downright pitiful in others (sRGB). This was not well complemented by the surprisingly acceptable response time, which, at 2ms, left no noticeable artifact ghosting on screen, and made for a more or less smooth feeling PC usage experience. Oddly, the speakers were surprisingly decent, with pretty nice volume levels and above average tonal range, although their positioning on the rear of the monitor made the sound seem rather distant at times. Verdict: For the price, I would certainly recommend looking for something else. There are much better options available on Amazon, for the same amount, give or take $20. Not the worst display in the world, but not one I would ever want to keep.
