> 24 hourChiming to say that these work perfectly with HomeKit. I use a HomePod mini as a hub and have Nest WiFi mesh routers. These smart plugs work great. Ive got four so far in my home and theyve yet to disconnect/fail after a full year of constant usage. Id recommend these if youre looking for a reliable/affordable smart plug to use with HomeKit. Note that, while you can use these without installing any third-party app, you *do* need to have the VOCOlinc app to update the firmware. Updates dont come by often, but I noticed that you cannot do so via the Apple Home app itself; youll need VOCOlincs app from the App Store.

> 24 hourI had smart plugs I used with Alexa, but I wanted to move over to HomeKit as I have HomePods in the house now. Here are some takeaways: Setup: Very easy to set up. Had to reset two because the firmware install had some issues, but after that it was good to go. Use: Works quite well, and I have less issue with these than my Alexa ones (Sometimes they’d disappear or stop working), but with the HomeKit integration, I don’t have that problem. Besides HomePod usage, it works with Siri on my phone and my watch.

> 24 hourI was hesitant to jump into the smart home game, because I knew it was an expensive road, full of maintenance and glitches, or so I thought. At $30 for two smart outlets, I found it very affordable and I decided to give it a try. WOW! Using Homekit, the setup was a breeze! Plug it in, open Homekit app, scan the QR code and there you go! Done! No HUB needed, these work right out of the box using only your phone and wifi. Setup takes 30 seconds. I was expecting a delay when turning lights on and off, but it is instant! Its fast enough you can click it on and off, over and over really fast, like a regular light switch to annoy your friends or family ;) Ive been using these plugs for the last month or so, and they are setup to automation and turn on 1 hour before sunrise, then turn off when we leave the house! Then, they turn on right before sunset and when I jump in bed I just say Goodnight! and they turn off with the siri voice shortcuts! I loved them so much that I bought two more, plus their smart Wi-Fi color changing light bulb. They all work together flawlessly and I can highly recommend these if you are starting out with a smart home.

> 24 hourJust set up three of these to control holiday lights around the house. I didnt even bother downloading the proprietary app -- just scanned the barcode on each one in Apples Home app and plugged them in. Theyve been rock solid ever since, and nicely integrated into the other stuff I have in the Home app setup.

> 24 hourWorking well for about a week with Homekit. I have not had any disconnection problems. I have used the Vocolinc switch with iPhone, iPad Pro, and Mac Mini. My router is an Apple Airport Extreme. Some slight initial confusion with setup but this is my first smart device setup with Apple Homekit. I found that I needed to use the Vocolinc app to scan the device initially. Scanning with the Apple Home app did not work even though the device did appear in the Home app. There are instructions and a user guide included and VR codes on each device. It can be difficult to scan the VR code if the device is plugged in the wall but the codes are also printed on the inside of the box and on the user guide. You just need to scan the code that matches the individual socket making sure to block any other VR codes. Update: I bought 2 more of these and was able to use Apple’s Home App to scan the devices without using Vocolinc’s app. Still working great!

> 24 hourI have multiple vocolink smart items including this plug and several led lights. They all set up easily and work great with Apple HokeKit without the need of a hub, something I cannot say for other brands that I have tried.

> 24 hourIt was so easy and quick to set up the VOCOlink SmartBar switch device using my iPhone and their LinkWise app. Great value for the price! Be sure your phone or tablet is connected to your 2.4GHz network first before connecting this switch to your WIFI network. You can switch your phone/tablet back to your 5GHz network when you are done. You need to use the LinkWise app to initially connect the switch, and their app must be given permission to the Apple Home app . You should also update the firmware for the switch, using the LinkWise app, right after you first connect it to your WiFi network. The LinkWise app automatically adds the devices to the Apple “Home” app. I now use the Apple Home app to control all my WiFi switch devices, including the VOCOlink switches. I liked this switch so much, I ordered two more.
