Vortex Optics Diamondback HD Binoculars 10x42

If you are reading my review you are lucky that I did no less than 20 plus hours of reading reviews and watching YouTube videos on binoculars. I googled the Vortex diamondback HD 10x42 probably 40 or 50 times, I got into this same amazon page and I read a lot of other previous owners of Vortex diamondback binoculars and here I am now being a part of the review myself from purchasing a set. I dont know how to start the review but let me just say that you cant go wrong with the diamondbacks, they offer such quality for the price that it is unbeatable. Yes!! the customer service is second to none, they answered my e-mails and phone calls promptly, just from the customers service alone you should consider this brand. As far is the binoculars itself, they are simply fantastic, the image is great and que built quality is high, I have been using the binoculars every day and every night since I purchased from looking at the mountains to looking at the carters of the moon to just being nosey about my surroundings. I looked into the Mavens, the Bushnell, the Nikons, I was 50/50 on the vipers diamondback and the nikon monarch 5 but nikon had absolutely zero discounts(I even called them), I could only find 1% discount on the nikons. Vortex offered me 40% with their military/law enforcement which made a huge difference but even without their discount the regular price was significantly cheaper than the Nikons monarch 5. Nikons were $299 and the Vortex could be found for $229 shipped. You have not make sure that you get the newest version , I think they are the DB-215. On a different note, I can echo what it has been said about the nikons, they are surely smother in operation, I was able to compare the nikons to the diamondbacks and the nikons had a helluva smoother mechanism(bridge and focus wheel), the diamondbacks are significantly harder to widen or close the bridge. In summary, if you are in a budget and have $230-$250 to spend go for these binoculars, it wouldnt break the bank and they perform very well for what you pay.

Muy buena calidad, llegaron bien. Los he usado poco, pero el alcance es muy bueno y la definición súper bien. Los quiero para el campo de tiro y en un futuro alguna cacería.

Easy to use and stable while looking through

These seem very good, in my limited knowledge of using binoculars and watching birds while receiving from injury. Still learning to focus at different distances & keep my hand steady. We have a great variety of birds to observe in our backyard - a juniper- forested hill in the mountains, crossing the ridge above us, and flying high into the clouds.

Solid construction, a good portable size for birding and general use. Optics are quite good. A little chromatic aberration in strong backlight, but really not bad at all. Mechanics solid At the price point, weight, and with the replacement gurantee I keep them strapped on my normal field bag, and dont worry much about them as I would for an IS set or more spendy binoculars. The best binoculars are the ones you have with you. Recommended.

Cest une optique fiable et de haute qualité que cette marque américaine. Une belle image avec les verres ED. Une fabrication sérieuse, une prise en main plaisante, livrée avec un sac pratique, bien pensé avec sangles pour le porter ventralement ce qui est confortable. Ces jumelles sont livrées par un passionné, dont vous trouverez les vidéos sur YouTube. Elles sont presque aussi compact que des 8X30. 5 Etoiles comme au Chasseur dImages. Ce qui nenlève rien car il y a un service après vente en Belgique.
