Sophie is absolutely darling, weve bought this product many times before for expecting parents and its always a hit. Sophie is great for all the reasons stated in other reviews and the product details; but Id suggest leaving a note on your order asking that the delivery isnt left somewhere that the packaging might be damaged, especially if youre planning on gifting it. The box is a delicate matte finish that perfectly suits Sophies texture and design, but unfortunately, our box was crammed into our mailbox and there were a few bends, dents and a rip. In no way did this damage the toy, but the box isnt as presentable as Id like for a gift, it gives it a slightly second-hand quality which is not preferable when youre giving something a baby might put in its mouth. Over-all Sophie is a win! But if your deliveries are routinely placed in a small mail box or even dropped over a wall consider leaving a request!!

Im gonna be completely honest. This teether is super pricey and everyone seems to love it and i get why they do. however, it is a complete pain to clean. There is a hole in the middle of the giraffes back for the squeak which i think is not necessary and is a detriment to the design. You have to be really careful not to get water inside the hole or mold will grow. So i was really upset when i couldnt wash it with water and soap and had to resort to other cleaning methods and when i did wash it with water, i had to cover the hole with my finger and wash around it. When you are in a hurry or the baby is crying you need to do things quick. so this is a pain. but my baby loved and used this teether so much and its very durable. So just keep that in mind if you get it.

Kid didn’t like it, but no issues from a quality perspective. She just doesn’t like it.

This toy is MAGICAL. I cant explain it but the baby LOVES this thing. The legs are perfect for her to hold onto and she chews on the little giraffe feet constantly. Oh and it SQUEAKS, which makes her giggle every time. Beware dog owners, youll have to teach the pup that this squeaky toy is not his. It does have a bit of a weird rubber smell, even after initial washing, but doesnt seem to bother baby. Was a little skeptical because this seemed a bit expensive for a baby toy, but this is by far her favorite toy so I dont regret the purchase one bit.

Ok I’ll admit it…I thought people were CRAZY to buy this teether. How could Sophie possibly be worth more than some of the jeans this mama buys herself? Well for whatever reason it’s like babies are drawn to it! My son who has really bad oral aversion from reflux, silent Aspiration and NG/NJ feeding tubes actually loves chomping on her feet and head! She’s super cute and easy for little fingers to hold. Dog families- like most baby toys, it squeaks (for whatever reason)! My dog is just as interested and OBSESSED with trying to chew on poor Sophie.

I dont know what exactly makes this teether the absolute best but it is!!!!

I wish I had a million dollars I would buy a Sophie for all the babies! Sophie goes every where with us!
