> 3 dayIve been trying to find different teethers for my 6 month old but she hasnt really taken a liking to any of them. She loves Sofie though. Right now the ears are perfect for soothing her lower front gums as her first teeth come in.

> 3 dayAll of the babies in our family have been given Sohie the Giraffe when they were babies. It’s easy to hold, soft rubber, and an accessible teething toy.

21-11-2024My baby thinks it’s very funny when this toy squeaks. As for teething, he isn’t the biggest fan but will still use it occasionally.

27-11-2024Sophie was recommended by a lot of youtube moms doing 3-6 month baby must haves videos. The price seemed to be really high for a teether, so I hesitated at first. After he showed no interest in our oreo shapped teether I figured we would give it a try. And I am glad we did! This teether/toy is really easy for little ones to grab at and hold. Our son loves chewing on Sophies head and can easily grab the teether by her neck. The many different parts (head, neck, four legs) are what make it easy for an infant, just learning to grab, be able to grab, hold and pull up toward their mouth. He also love the squeaker. It really grabs his attention and encourages him to grab her and play with her. The toy does seem to bring him some relief while teething. He used to just chew on his hands, so we are happy we have found something to help keep his hands clean. It also seems pretty simple to clean/wipe down and it stands up on his own. I only gave four stars in the cleaning scale since the inside of the teether can get dirty and there is no way to open it up and clean it. The overall four star rating is because the little manual says to try not to get the squeaker wet, which seems impossible when a teething baby drools all over the teether and then it is bound to get wet when rinsing or wiping down. This eventually will lead to the mold/bacteria build up inside the teether that this toy is known for. It is an amazing product and I do recommend it to teething babies, however I would look into other Sophies (this company seems to make a lot of different types of Sophies) that do not have a squeaker or other area where water/liquid could get inside the toy.

> 3 daySophie is absolutely darling, weve bought this product many times before for expecting parents and its always a hit. Sophie is great for all the reasons stated in other reviews and the product details; but Id suggest leaving a note on your order asking that the delivery isnt left somewhere that the packaging might be damaged, especially if youre planning on gifting it. The box is a delicate matte finish that perfectly suits Sophies texture and design, but unfortunately, our box was crammed into our mailbox and there were a few bends, dents and a rip. In no way did this damage the toy, but the box isnt as presentable as Id like for a gift, it gives it a slightly second-hand quality which is not preferable when youre giving something a baby might put in its mouth. Over-all Sophie is a win! But if your deliveries are routinely placed in a small mail box or even dropped over a wall consider leaving a request!!

> 3 dayWe’ve had this for 6 months and it’s got a crack going down the side of the neck now . Since I don’t want my baby biting off a piece and swallowing plastic I have to throw this away . For the price I’d expect it to last longer . It’s upsetting because my daughter loves this thing but I refuse to buy another one

> 3 dayWhen I was pregnant with my first born, I saw this little toy and thought How cute...and expensive! and refused to buy Sophie. Then my husband got a baby shower gift from a co-worker and Sophie was included. I thought it was ridiculous but hey, Sophie is cute and it was a gift so... Then my son started teething. Tylenol only seemed to numb the pain but he still cried. We tried baby gum gel and that only lasted a few minutes and then he was miserable again. We tried other teethers but they only seemed to frustrate him more. And then I gave him Sophie... Sophies foot, Sophies face, Sophies ear, Sophies neck...throughout all of his teething stages, Sophie was there to save the day. And now Im a Sophie believer--Sophie is my go-to for baby shower gifts and Sophie was the first thing on my wish list when I began making my baby registry for my second born.

> 3 dayThis toy is MAGICAL. I cant explain it but the baby LOVES this thing. The legs are perfect for her to hold onto and she chews on the little giraffe feet constantly. Oh and it SQUEAKS, which makes her giggle every time. Beware dog owners, youll have to teach the pup that this squeaky toy is not his. It does have a bit of a weird rubber smell, even after initial washing, but doesnt seem to bother baby. Was a little skeptical because this seemed a bit expensive for a baby toy, but this is by far her favorite toy so I dont regret the purchase one bit.
