My 4 month old doesn’t really enjoy it as much as the “teething ring” version. I purchased both when he was 3 months and does not put the teething ring down! Maybe once he gets a little older he’ll enjoy this one.

The product I received is an authentic and beautiful Sophie la Giraffe! I was happy to find out I could verify the product authenticity by scanning an hologram on the back of the packaging. The product is identical to the one I was playing with as a kid growing up in France 30 years ago. The look, the smell, the squeaky sound, everything is precisely the same! The toy is still made in the same factory in France as it always was. The instructions are written on the packaging and available in multiple languages. I noticed the French and English instructions are written without any grammatical errors. This is very rare nowadays since most manufacturers use automatic translations. Thank you Vulli for caring about the details, at least one person appreciates it. Sophie is such a classic toy with its iconic design, it makes both babies and nostalgic parents happy! My son is almost 6 months. I bought this off a recommendation and did not think it would be as big of a hit as it is. There are very few toys that my son holds onto and will play with consistently - this is one of them. He loves Sophie! The long neck and legs makes it easy to hold. All the limbs also make it easy for him to bite on no matter how he’s holding it. And it’s soft enough for him to make the squeaking noise on his own! Definitely worth the money.

Sophie Giraffe is soft and ultra flexible. The toy/teether fits in a babys hand perfectly. Ive given several new moms this gift for their baby & always get smiles of appreciation in the months to come when their little one gets acquainted with Sophie.

All of the babies in our family have been given Sohie the Giraffe when they were babies. It’s easy to hold, soft rubber, and an accessible teething toy.

So soft, cute, and my 8 month old LOVES it. I bought it for her when she was a little over 6 months old, and its by far her favorite toy. Its great for teething, the squeak is cute and makes her laugh, the rubber is made of great quality. Just make sure you know how to clean Sophie properly!! I didnt read the instructions first and washed her under slow running water, doing my best to not get the squeak hole, but it inevitably got a little water in it and the squeaker stopped working. I was so sad, especially because of how expensive this baby toy is! But after shaking Sophie around A LOT and pushing the squeaker around, it started working again. Now, I just take a wet wipe or slightly damp wash cloth and clean her that way. I thought this was always just some trendy toy that fancy moms bought, but I decided to cave in and give it a try for my second kid out of curiosity. I really wish I had this for my first!

Sophie is absolutely darling, weve bought this product many times before for expecting parents and its always a hit. Sophie is great for all the reasons stated in other reviews and the product details; but Id suggest leaving a note on your order asking that the delivery isnt left somewhere that the packaging might be damaged, especially if youre planning on gifting it. The box is a delicate matte finish that perfectly suits Sophies texture and design, but unfortunately, our box was crammed into our mailbox and there were a few bends, dents and a rip. In no way did this damage the toy, but the box isnt as presentable as Id like for a gift, it gives it a slightly second-hand quality which is not preferable when youre giving something a baby might put in its mouth. Over-all Sophie is a win! But if your deliveries are routinely placed in a small mail box or even dropped over a wall consider leaving a request!!

In my opinion, it’s just like any other rubber teething toy but double the price
