> 3 dayI had my son and his family staying with us for a few weeks and Grandmom ran over Sophie with the vacuum. It wasn’t pretty. I felt terrible, I didn’t realize that she was my grandson’s teething, soothing toy. I had to have a new Sophie rushed to my home. Thank goodness she came in and all was right with the world. Grandmom learned a very valuable lesson…look under the furniture before you run the vacuum. She is a godsend on those really bad teething day when nothing else will do. “Sophie to the rescue!”

> 3 dayIt’s a decent teether but for the price there are a million other options that work better.

> 3 dayOkay im not sure what it is with this toy but my son loves this toy. Hes 6 months and loves it - plays with it the most. I was skeptical because the price for this toy and I was shocked five star and at the time almost 10k in reviews. So I got it. And I see why every baby loves it! My husband thinks its like a dog toy like a dog squeaky toy but he loves it so we got it and would get it again. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayMy 6 month old loves this! Easy to hold and the only thing that seems to help his teething! I don’t worry about something breaking off because there is nothing that breaks off! This is worth every penny! I will buy this again for a gift!

> 3 dayMy friends wife is having a baby so I started buying some things I know they will need (having three grown children of my own and 8 grandchildren). My daughter is the expert however so I asked her opinion on everything. She said I should definitely buy a Sophie. I had no idea what a Sophie was so she educated me in the fine art of Sophie for teething babies. No problem except the price. Its a squeaking rubber giraffe for $20+. I dont know about anyone else, but Im big on value for my dollar and while it went against the grain, I bought it anyway. Had no idea rubber giraffes from France were so expensive, but oh, well, Im a sucker for babies. When mine were little I didnt care about how much I spent, same thing with my grandchildren. I just thought it was funny, a Sophie for the baby...who knew?

> 3 dayWhen I was pregnant with my first born, I saw this little toy and thought How cute...and expensive! and refused to buy Sophie. Then my husband got a baby shower gift from a co-worker and Sophie was included. I thought it was ridiculous but hey, Sophie is cute and it was a gift so... Then my son started teething. Tylenol only seemed to numb the pain but he still cried. We tried baby gum gel and that only lasted a few minutes and then he was miserable again. We tried other teethers but they only seemed to frustrate him more. And then I gave him Sophie... Sophies foot, Sophies face, Sophies ear, Sophies neck...throughout all of his teething stages, Sophie was there to save the day. And now Im a Sophie believer--Sophie is my go-to for baby shower gifts and Sophie was the first thing on my wish list when I began making my baby registry for my second born.
