It works. I just wish it came w directions.

Plug and play. I am using as a back up drive on my PC. Fast USB 3 connectivity. Perfect.

I don’t recommend this drive because it crashes. Sundisk is the way to go with SSD

Works fine so far. Using it as PS4 external storage.

Its fast, easy to use and works well for storage or gaming. It has normal USB, also USB C capability and good capacity too. Its a good, quality solid state drive like most products are that are made by WD.

When I got this I was a bit disappointed. Kiddo has an entry level gaming laptop (hes almost 8, entry is about all I trust him with right now) that gets full rather easy and the biggest space hog is his Steam library. I was hoping this would be a quick fix to moving the games off his laptop without a loss of performance. But moving the games took FOREVER and he kept knocking the external SSD around on his small desk. It also gets a bit warm when taxing it, so I called it a fail, and just ended up upgrading his internal M.2 SSD instead.

Great drive and really good transfer speeds. Only issue is the drive runs really hot. Despite being in an all metal vented case. Runs cooler if you get some airflow (fan of some sort) to the drive while in use.

This is exactly what I wanted and it delivers above and beyond. I transferred 2 games totalling 65GB and it took around 3 minutes!!! That is insane!

First thing to know is that you will need the latest USB 3.2 support on the motherboard to take advantage of the high speed transfer. This is not common yet.

Got this bad boy and plugged it in and worked right away! Make sure to use the front usb on the left.
