It works. I just wish it came w directions.

Small portable ssd and super fast performance with massive 3.68tb of storage space. If you have massive digital library of games like me. Holds my entire PS4 catalog with 1.8 free space have 103 games on it. Games runs way better than on my old PS4 Pro with ssd no more loud fan for certain games. Since putting games on portable ssd I see no or hardly difference to loading times for most part. If you need the space and have the money its worth it.

Although this drive is marketed to gamers, it’s not just for gaming. There are many applications that can benefit from the lightening fast transfer speed of an SSD drive.

Installs and formats in a snap, but then you get a nasty surprise if you own a seriesX or I would imagine a PS5. This solid state drive will not play seriesX games on the drive only Xbox One games. So if you want to use it for last gen games its great but as for current gen it only archives and stores. I all you want is an external drive to play your last gen games on your SeriesX you would prolly want to get the conventional external Black Game drive. Its at least cheaper!

I ordered this device a few months prior through Amazon. I was in need of extended space on my PC for gaming and I didnt have any further NVME slots to install internal storage. The internal chip I have installed is WD_BLACK, so I looked into their options for external, having had only good experiences with my other storage.

This is a blazingly fast external hard drive that is very capable and super rugged! I use this for a bit of gaming and the load times are incredibly fast. But mostly I use this as a rugged, go anywhere, external drive for traveling, mostly bike packing, long touring trips, etc. It has never let me down.

Runs my COD Cold War well.

Setup was easy, and fast. love it.

Using it for my PS4 games on PS5. Its loading the games just about as fast as on internal storage (I assume due to speed limitations with PS4 titles on PS5). This is good though, so I can save internal storage for PS5 games.
