> 3 dayBought this SSD to expand the capacity on my PS5 as it was on sale for Prime Day at $197. Normally, this SSD is really pricey, coming in at around $549 for 2TB. Purchased and arrived in time for the weekend, just YouTube some highly viewed videos on storage expansion and its really not difficult to get yourself setup. Highly recommended if you wanna expand your storage.

> 3 dayIf your looking to upgrade your storage on your ps5 this is definitely the way to go. I doubt i will ever run out of room with this addition. Was extremely easy to install and has worked flawlessly since installation. All games run as they should with no issues.

21-11-2024So I went with this after researchig the best drive for a PS5. Ordered a separate heat sink which was pretty cheap. After installing the heat sink, and watching several how-to YouTube tutorials, I installed it and its been working fine. (I highly recommend watching installation vids, its simple enough but some screw removal can be tricky) Also due to shortages of chips, processors and who knows what else in the PC/gamer world, the price inflation on these is a bit high. SSDs arent cheap to begin with, but Ive been seeing prices rise, especially on the actual WD website so thats my only negative comment. If you can find it at a decent price, snag it because a week later I guarantee it wont be that same price again.
