I bought this for my PS5 for more space, and its a great investment

Tengo varios SSD PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 instalados y despues de realizar varios test puedo decir que el Western Digital Black SN850X M.2 4000 GB PCI Express 4.0 NVMe esta por encima de los demas sobretodo en velocidad de escritura, en lectura tambien los supera pero en escritura esta muy por encima.

Only issue I had with this was windows made me have to use the run prompt to force it to format it so then I could use it. BIOS saw it, device manager saw it... Anyway, works great! Nice little LED light on it too.

I got this drive to replace a faulty NVMe SSD that I had gotten prior to this one. I installed it in my laptop, and it delivers fairly well on the read/write speeds! For gaming, this is a really good drive! Just get one with the heatsink, or, if you dont have enough clearance on your device, get a thin one! Without one the drive can get pretty toasty, and it wont be able to fully deliver on that performance! I am looking forward to game devs taking advantage of DirectStorage on the PC, just to see how well the SSD and GPU can cooperate together.

Thus is like my 6th WD SN series drive I’ve bought, it’s the same as the others, perfect! Bought the 1 TB version, 2 TB, and now the 4TB, all work flawlessly. Loading and copying games and edits are super quick. Probably will buy another sometime soon, can never have too much fast storage!

Die Festplatte hält, was sie verspricht und läuft in meiner PS5 einwandfrei. Man hat sogar die vollen 2 TB zur Verfügung - bei Festplatten früherer Generationen bekommt man ja z. B. schon mal angezeigt, dass nur 1,87 TB von 2 TB frei sind, obwohl noch gar nichts abgespeichert ist. Die Ladezeiten sind galaktisch schnell und der Einbau in die PS5 war im Grunde auch recht easy. Kaufempfehlung!

Did the installation in less then 10 minutes. Only need a basic screw driver. Works perfect with the PS5.

I ordered a 1TB but should have gotten a 2-4TB. This M.2 SSD probably provides the best speeds for its value on the market.

This was very easy to install in a PS5. I was very surprised how easy to just plug in the stick. Great add on for additional storage.
