Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Paint Set, 12 Half Pans w/ Water Brush Pen and Mixing Palette

The colors, though student grade, are very nice. I really like the container a lot. It has a water brush included that I may not use since I also purchased a travel brush that may fit in there instead. Once the paint is used it will be easy to rinse out the little containers and refill them.....the container closes very well, so I feel confident it wont fly open if jostled in my tote bag.

Good little set with reliable W&N colors. I mostly bought this for the bijoux to put some pans of a different brand in. Nothing wrong with the included paint though. The only thing I really dont like (and I admit, I may be the only one who would be bothered by this) is that the bottom isnt a smooth box shape, its just the underside of the pans... It just seems unpleasantly unfinished.

These are student grade but also when you want a more suttle and soft look. Sometimes you need less pigment for the look you want.

This is a great set for beginners and intermediate artists. The colors are very good and I was able to mix different colors to make skin tones. I didnt use the brush pen provided in the kit. It was uncomfortable for me to use so i bought regular paint brushes.

I had the one with the tiny paint brush for 5 years and it’s still doing good! Good quality! Love love love! Make sure to leave the lid open to allow them to dry properly.

The colour are really perfect, I did a test on all the shades before painting anything. You won’t get all the basic colours you need, red orange and some shades of green are missing but you can always mix and match. Perfect for beginners though

I had their smaller pallet and thought itd give this a try. Really like it so far. Colors look good and it travels well.
