Winsor & Newton Cotman Watercolor Paint Set, 12 Half Pans w/ Water Brush Pen and Mixing Palette

El producto me llego muy rápido y en excelente estado. Los colores son hermosos, tal y como aparece en la descripción. El tamaño es de bolsillo, perfecto para pintar en el exterior. ADORO el pincel de agua, es súper cómodo y rápidamente se convirtió en mi favorito (aunque toma un poco de tiempo y practica aprender a controlar el agua, pero vale la pena). El único pero que tengo es que habría preferido que en lugar de rosa o violeta trajera una pastilla de color rojo, ya que para mi es mas complicado de lograr obtener el tono correcto por medio de mezclas, pero ese es mi caso particular. Creo que esta acuarela es de muy buena calidad y la recomiendo totalmente, especialmente si eres principiante. La volvería a comprar sin pensarlo dos veces.

Update: I regret choosing this palette as a beginner, both for the size and color variation. Over time I felt like I could not get vibrant mixes and wondered why. Its the lack of warm colors . I definitely should have bought the Sketchers Pocket or similar. Im still learning but 3 of the half pans are done, Id be better off buying cheap tubes first to experiment then the Sketchers Pocket . As shared before, this palette is small but I did not checking measurements before. Other than that the amount of paint in each pan is inconsistent. Some pans fall out constantly if the container is shifted while others stay put. I also wish I was able to see the names of the colors above the pans or in the box because without water most are so dark its hard to differentiate.

Hopefully this will help someone out. This is the set I received. At first I thought it was defective, as I only appeared to have half of a brush pen. I reached out to Winsor & Newton, and they mentioned to check the pen - they said they turn the brush head inside the base to protect it during shipping. Sure enough - I took out the brush pen to have a look, the top screws inside the base. The whole brush pen is there! Hope this helps someone.

Beautiful colors that mix well together but the water brush was way to small for me to like.

Me encanta esta paleta. Busque mucho cuál comprar y cuál sería la mejor inversión, realmente creo que va a durar mucho tiempo. Me encantan los colores que vienen y como quedan en papel.

Winsor Newton Cotman colors are actually very lovely and an excellent value. The hues are beautiful, mix well, and perform infinitely better than similarly priced student grade paints. I absolutely would recommend Winsor Newton brand watercolors for beginners or for anyone who isnt looking to spend too much on watercolor paint. HOWEVER-- I, like a few others here, received an incomplete set of paints. The colors were not the same as indicated on the packaging. At first I did not mind, but when working with such a small and limited palette, its essential to have certain colors, and those colors were not all there. The same was true for my Winsor Newton 45 set. I returned/am returning both and replacing them with another (more expensive) brand. Winsor Newton Cotmans are excellent paints, but I would not recommend at all purchasing them from Amazon until this issue is resolved.

I love the sturdy case, the paint quality is excellent, and the lid works well for mixing. I wanted to address the reviews that claim the water brush is poorly designed/leaky, etc. They are doing it wrong! The water brush has a cap which you KEEP so you can fill the brush and pack it into the palette. It doesn’t leak. You don’t have to bring water and fill it later. Fill it. Put the little black cap on. Pack it. To use it; remove the cap and attach the brush. No problems!

In love with this product! I saw someone on TikTok making little frogs and stuff with these watercolors and had to have it! :)

Loved it!! Perfect small size to take anywhere! The brush is so-so.. to thin to work as a thicker brush and too thick to work on the thin lines:/
