WiOn 50050 Indoor WiFi Plug With 1 Grounded Outlet; White

The picture in the listing shows two outlet adapters but there is just one in the box.

Love these. I now have four of them, also one power strip and one for outside. They all work great. It is so nice to be able to set up everything from my phone and was very easy to do. I was able to set them up with my echo also so I can have Alexa turn them on and off also.

I already had an outdoor Wion outlet, so it was a no-brainer to get these indoor models. Set up is so easy, and you can set a timer for the outlet. App is easy to use.

I bought this outlet to plug in a utility tractor snowblower block heater at a vacation home so I could turn it on before I arrived and heat the tractor up so I wouldnt have to wait for it for two hours to heat up before starting. Initially the item worked fine for about a month, but now each time I go to turn it on it is not being found on the app and the error to check the Wi-Fi signal shows. The signal is strong and reaches well beyond the device so it is not out of range. When I physically check the device, it is flashing and I manually need to turn it on and then it will sync back up and show up for about a day and then it reverts back to not showing up despite nothing changing. Not sure if it is the cold or if that is irrelevant as it seems many other reviews have the problem. I would not purchase this item again.

This app works amazing no crashing. A bit tricky to set up but it’s so much better than the smart home app which constantly crashes

So this item I would not recommend because it hasn’t worked I have tried different ways of using it and it’s not working it’s not even connecting to the app so I can turn it on it to work I don’t know what the problem is I will be returning this item I do not recommend purchasing because it’s not connecting to either the Wi-Fi or the app so this is a complete

This order was my 6th WiOn smart plug which I installed at my daughters condo. My first 5 were from a liquidation store where it was sold at same price reduction. Despite its bulky size compared to newer ones in the market like my other Wemo plug, the WiOn is so easy to install and set up via its WiOn app. It only loses a star because somehow I could not get it recognized by my Google Home and Alexa app. It used to be by GH which still lists WiOn as among the devices it recognizes. Nonetheless, the WiOn app works just as fine including controlling it via off-location (remote).

Can only use one schedule for all devices. Would rather have a device that can have multiple schedules for multiple decices.

Have multiple WiOn plugs. Fantastic product until Apple upgraded operating system to IOS 16. None of our devices work and have been advised by representative of company that there is no intention to do so in the near future. So, beware if you plan on using an Apple device to operate these devices, they are not compatible with IOS 16. BUYER BEWARE.

Research for additional options. When this works it’s great but I’ve had to reconnect to the router three times since buying less than a month ago. It’s great to turn on from anywhere but not if it doesn’t stay connected. Both the inside house and outside plug drop. One is in the room with the router and the other is right outside the room window. Again, great - when it stays connected.
