Wise Owl Outfitters Camping Hammock - Camping Accessories Single or Double Hammock for Outdoor, Travel Hammock Indoor w/Tree Straps

I wanted to love this hammock, at least as much as my others, if not more! I think its fairly priced, but I cannot put it in the same ball park as the more expensive brands. For some reason I really, really, really noticed the stitching where the two colors come together. It was very prominent and almost seemed to be gathered there a little during the sewing, making for a tight spot you can really feel when laying in the hammock, if that makes sense. In addition, the rope knots at the ends were very loud and squeaky. Maybe both of the things that bother me just need some time to break in/settle in. I have a Bear Butt hanging in my daughters room and I literally took that one down and put this one up. I really couldnt wait to get back in the Bear Butt, the stitching seems to disappear on that one. The included carabiners on the two seem identical and the Bear Butt is a little longer than the DoubleOwl. Unfortunately I have already ordered another DoubleOwl for my bedroom. Im hoping I have better luck with that one, as the Wise Owl colors are much more appealing to me than the Bear Butt. I bought the WOO straps and they are pretty nice, the included carabiners are SUPER nice, maybe my favorite wise owl product so far and they were free with the straps. I cant speak to the longevity, as this was my first hang! I dont hate it, but I was hoping for better. EDIT: After I wrote that the WOO hung tighter on the same settings as my daughters BB, I checked the posted specs and became even more confused. WOO listed length is 10.5 ft and BB listed length is 10 ft. Considering I may have been mistaken during the brief hang, I laid them both out and took a picture. The BB is longer! WOO includes the cordage and carabiners in the posted length, but BBs posted length seems to be the fabric alone. Also see pics of the stitching, I dont think Im crazy there either, see the gathering on the WOO? The other hammock in the photo is a GT Double from Cabellas (the Cabellas version is listed at 9 ft and comes with their nice tree straps (as a trade off for the 1.5 feet off the regular double it seems). I really like the comfort a longer hammock provides. Again, its not a rip off or super poor quality, its not as nice as I hoped and not as nice, comfortable, or as big as the BB. The WOO is a gift, and I think the color will matter more to them, but I think all my future purchases of budget priced packable hammocks will be BB!

Bought this for a camping trip with the boyfriend. I am kind of on the heavier side so I was a little worried if it was actually going to hold both of us and it did! Super comfy to lounge in solo too.

Looks great & feels solid. Only had it for a month or so & I can tell it’s going to last a long time.

Very easy set up. Easily packs into a small bag that is part of the hammock so it can’t get lost. Great to take camping but we actually use it in the front yard most often. I own the single and double version.

This hammock is perfect for a quick pick-up and go. Setting it up is easy - weve probably never set it up as advertised but that just goes to show how easy it is so use. Comfortably holds the weight of two adults. Love how easy it is to pack up and store. Great for snoozing at the beach!

So I just received this hammock last night! The reaso Im giving five stars (for now) is because of the amazing customer service this company has provided so far! I wanted to get a hammock after going on a camping trip with some friends and one of them had a hammock ( not sure which brand they had). I wanted one that I could climb into with my daughter even as she continues to grow and I didnt like the obnoxiously bright colors of my friends hammock. I decided to purchase this particular hammock because of the reviews and the colors. The colors arent overly bright, but they do have brighter options for those that like bright colors. Here are some of the things that have made me excited about this hammock! 1. I received an email from the company (not Amazon) letting me know what to expect from them 2. In this email they included an e-version of instructions for the hammock and ropes that were coming 3. Because of the email I was ready to open my hammock right away before using it so that I could prepare the ties to go around whatever I use for supports 4. I can now set up and take down my hammock very quickly and easily! 5. The colors are very true to what I saw online ( I got the rose/grey) Needless to say I am excited to use my hammock! A couple things to keep in mind: 1. The ties included are nylon rope; this both great and a bit of a downer. Great because I have a way to go and use my hammock right away; Downer because nylon starches with time ( no matter how great the quality is) so I will need to buy straps, but this company sells those too! Included are a couple of photos of what I received. (I tied the ropes myself, they do not come that way, but thats one of the things they show how to do in the email!) I will add a photo once I am able to hang it!

I use these in my gazebo in my airbnb and theyre made of a very high quality durable fablic. Much better than regalar fabric

First I bought the single like a week ago, its my first hammock and being able to lay around but in nature, its one of the best purchases Ive made. The only thing about the single is that you can lay in it just fine but theres not much room for different laying positions. So I bought the double, and now I can sit perpendicular and rest my head like Im in a recliner chair. Im so impressed with these, cant believe I got one sooner. IF YOU HAVE DEPRESSION OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT MAKES YOU FATIGUED AND NEED TO LAY DOWN, GET ONE OF THESEEEEEEEE

We are in love with the double owl hammocks. This is our 2nd year with them and weve taken them on every vacation we take. High quality, super easy to hang. Ive bought them as a gift for several people. I would definitely recommend! :)

The Good: -Lightweight -Durable -Easy to set up -Comfortable -Packable -Good value The Bad: -None The Bottom Line: We have 2 trees in our front yard that are 10 feet apart from each other. I realized during this Covid pandemic that a hammock would be perfect between the trees. This Wise Owl outfitters hammock is perfect. It is packable and can be stuffed into itself in the bag. It is super lightweight and easy to set up. There are 2 straps which go around the tree and you simply hook the caribaner to the straps. The hammock itself is very comfortable and stable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hammock.
