This hammock is amazing! When youre looking at twice as much or more for some of the more well known camping/backpacking/UL brands, this is a great alternative, either for getting into hammock camping or for people like me who dont have hundreds to spend on gear. With a few adjustments (adding a ridgeline is the best) this is ready to go. I got the double since Im tall and a squirmy sleeper, and I wanted something comfy enough to sit in without having to take my shoes off. I havent done it yet, but its so easy to set up/tear down with the attached stuff sack and the long tree straps, I could imagine breaking for lunch mid-hike and setting this up for 20-30 mins to prop your feet up! Im 511 and 200lbs, and both me and my partner can fit in this thing with only some elbow-and-arm-placement-based discomfort. It fits me widthwise and for asym laying it fits and then some, no worry of being too close to the edge on either side. If youre on the fence, grab this and try taking a nap - youll be hooked on hammock camping. I know Im never going to sleep on the ground again!

Very easy set up. Easily packs into a small bag that is part of the hammock so it can’t get lost. Great to take camping but we actually use it in the front yard most often. I own the single and double version.

After wanting a hammock for years, I finally decided to get one. I read the reviews on this one, everyone seemed to like it and it was a great price point. I was not disappointed, my family absolutely loves this hammock! This was so easy to put up right out of the bag I didn’t need instructions. Granted I had an idea of how it was going to attach to the tree but I was pretty proud of myself having never put up a hammock before. I’m glad I got the double, it was great for two people, and plenty roomy when it was just yourself. Also very sturdy! We plan on adding at least one more Wise Owl Hammock to our collection because everyone was fighting over this one!!

Easy up, easy down. Packs small and light. I use it at work when I work outdoor shows or on breaks between shows. Best $37 I’ve spent. Cons: not a good wind blocker. If it’s breezy you’ll feel it.

This product is fantastic, you can see the many reviews that talk about the quality materials and workmanship. I use this for backpacking, typically as a lounging chair at camp. So weight is very important to me. The posted weight is mostly accurate, the hammock (without straps) is 16.5 oz. However, this includes the carabiners which are WAY too heavy at 4.3oz for the pair, you can get hammock rated carabiners for 1300lbs at 1.5oz for the pair for $10. So there is an additional 3 oz of weight savings to be had. After I made that switch, here are the posted weights on my food scale: Hammock with new biners inside the sack: 393g (13.8oz) Wiseowl Straps: 183g (6.5oz) So this whole package is barely over 1.3lbs. A helinox chair by comparison is 2.1lbs. What a steal this is for $28.

Fit two people very easily.

I bought this on a total whim at 6am after a night of no sleep watching a YouTube channel called Shiey. He’s the adventurous type, and so am I, so I wanted to try it out. I got this out to a local quarry, set it up between two trees right by the edge, and I could easily fall asleep out there. I do want to get the rain tarp, pillow, underquilt, and bug netting, but for what I have now, I could easily drive somewhere and camp. I love this thing. Buy yourself one now, it’s worth it.

Love it! Sturdy, comfortable and easy to set up! Nice size! Im 510 and 250lbs. And it was comfortable and I was confident it was going to hold me! Folds back up into original bag easily too! 5☆

My SO and I use this hammock in the evening. We will go to a local park and just chill. We’ve used it all summer and it’s our favorite summer item!

This double hammock is a must buy for outdoor adventures! I ordered this double hammock for our upcoming camping trip with family. This was the perfect size for two grown adults and extra room for two children to join in the fun. It was perfect for relaxing and also a fun swing for the kids. I ordered the double hammock because I am pregnant and I knew my two children would want to relax with me. The material is very strong and the straps were of perfect length. I was able to put this hammock between two trees very easily and I felt secure the entire time while relaxing or playing with my kids in the hammock.
