Have taken this thing through the mountains of NC a few times now and it has performed flawlessly. The double is perfect for a 61 200lb man with an athletic build. Im hard on my gear and this hammock has stood up well to the abuse. Ive been using a standard GI poncho for a rain fly, but after seeing the quality of this hammock, Ill be buying a woo rain fly as soon as I have the extra cash. I have almost zero complaints about the standard setup with straps right out of the box, however Ive made a few modifications, mainly for convenience sake instead of necessity. The straps it comes with are strong and well stitched, but there are only a few (4-6?) Loops at the very ends of each tree strap, so finding trees that are exactly the correct length apart was tricky my first few times out, and adjustment is limited when set up. No big deal just takes a little extra planning. Ive since upgraded to 21-loop straps for a total of 42 different attachment points, and life is amazing now. As others have pointed out the caribeaners are heavy, and make up most of the weight of the unit in a pack so Ill be swapping them out for the recommended alloy ones as well in the near future. Again not needed but ounces = lbs. The entire hammock is super easy to pack and unpack, and with a quick ridline system I have it up in less than 5 minutes. For the price and quality, stop shopping around and get this hammock. Hell get 2. My gf has been bugging me to get her one of her own.

I bought this hammock (single version), and the double version to bring on camping trips, but have also ended up using them at home because theyre so enjoyable. These hammocks are SO comfortable. Can confirm that sleeping on your back and side is totally comfy too, as laying in it the other day was so relaxing that I fell asleep for 2 hours. :) Woke up feeling refreshed. I prefer the single size in general, since the double has so much fabric that it can cocoon you a bit if youre in it alone - though some people may actually prefer this for sleeping. But both are comfortable to sleep in. You will feel cool air and breezes/wind through the fabric, so if youre napping/sleeping in chilly weather, youll definitely want to line the hammock with a blanket or sleeping bag. I cannot say enough good things about these hammocks - very happy with this purchase!

Right off the bat when I opened this, I was impressed with how durable it seems and the material is soft to the touch and comfortable. I set it up in the driveway, one end tied to a tree and the other to my Jeep. It took me a couple tries to get it high enough. It’ll seem like it’s high enough, but then you get in and it droops down a little. Once I got the height right and got in, I was super impressed. It’s very comfortable and felt very sturdy. I weigh about 215 Lbs and it could definitely hold another person no problem. I got the two person hammock and it’s definitely big. With just me in it, the sides have a lot of excess space and can wrap over the top of me like a cocoon. I can’t wait to take this camping and see how it is. Great product!

The last two years my hammocks have not lasted to use another year. I loved the thin rope weave hammock but it was too expensive to not last more than a season. I decided to give this hammock a try and I really like it. It’s not the same as my previous hammock but they are too different to compare. This was easy to hang up on my hammock stand but I did have to get creative with the hammock straps as the stand is much bigger than the hammock. I wish there were smaller loops in the straps; however, this hammock seems to be intended for camping and use with trees. I haven’t tried that yet. The hammock is comfortable but you do have to get a little creative with how you lay in it because it cocoons you a little bit. The only negative with that is it comes up around my head and limits my vision a lot. That’s probably my only complaint as I like to enjoy the view. It’s a small issue though and I can still see directly above me.

Exactly what we were looking for, for my daughter! Big enough and strong enough to hold her and a friend!! Easy to put up and take down!

The double hammock is great and the included straps are a bonus. I suggest that you use tree saver straps to protect the tree from damage. If you camp where its cold get the liner!

I think this hammock is great for the price. The carabiners are a bit heavy. Replaced them with cheap but strong aluminum ones and cut off 2oz. When laying in it I can just barely feel the seem between the two colors. I think the seem feels a little tighter than the cloth giving it a little less give. It doesnt have much of an effect on comfort but all things equal I think I would prefer no seam...it does make it a lot prettier though. The included tree straps worked great. They are very slightly heavier(about 3oz per strap) than some specialty brands but at the price I cant justify paying that much extra for other straps. Total weight for me after switching out the carabiners was about 20oz. A little heavier than ideal, but not that far off from ultralight specialty brands that cost a lot more. It is very slightly shorter than I prefer.An extra foot would go a long way to making this super comfy to sleep in. So basically it is very slightly worse than spending four times the price on specialty ultralight brand products and at this price point is an incredible value while still performing really well.

Super easy to set-up, as that was a big concern of mine. Definitely feels strange sitting in the double hammock as a single, as it sort of “cocoons” you in. Overall, definitely worth it!!!

Im in love with this hammock. I named it Kitty. Anyway, Im a hammock person, and this one is by far my favorite ever purchased. Its portable, compact, lightweight, and durable. I LOVE the color options. I chose the Fuchsia/Sky Blue one. Its beautiful. I LOVE the flat straps. Theyre adjustable, so setting it up is so easy its ridiculous. Im a heavy swinger in the trees, so the flat straps also keep it from digging into my wooden friends. It also feels very secure when bounced in. It *holds up* to the weight limit. Ive swung with my sister in it as well, and its very secure. The side pocket also acts as the carrying case (which was the *case* with other hammocks Ive purchased) but this one has more room to it with out being bigger...if that makes sense? The straps fit perfectly rolled up at the bottom, and the hammock itself is easily stuffable without having to struggle. Im very happy with this purchase.
