I bought this on a whim not knowing how well I would sleep in it when backpacking. Ive never been able to sleep well in a tent and thought Id try this. In 10 minutes I was sound asleep and didnt wake up at all during the night. Its a bit on the heavy side compared to a tent when you add the bug net and tarp. I found that if I wore a bug net over my head that I use when hiking, I dont need the one for the hammock. Now Ive got to come up with a lighter tarp. Regardless of the weight as is, I wouldnt go back to my tent. Also, there are lighter carabiners available which youll want to swap out with the ones that come with this one. The light weight ones I found are half the weight which is significant when youre counting ounces. Im looking at lighter tree straps as well. For the price, you cant beat this setup.

My first hammock purchase. I bought the 2 person one. I was able to put it up by myself in no time. It held 2 people, kids and adults. It did not slip. I would definitely recommend and purchase again!

The double owl hammock is a very comfortable and well made parachute style hammock. It can easily hold 2 average size humans, with room to spare. It is a nice touch that they add the tree straps and carabiners, so you don’t have to purchase them separately. The only real complaint I have is with the tree straps. The daisy chain portion is very small, so there is less adjustability with these than others that have the daisy chain running about 1/2 the length of the strap. I find myself wrapping the strap around the tree (depending on diameter) several times to take up the extra slack so I can attach the biner to the right daisy chain loop. Overall, it’s a great buy, I just wish the straps had more daisy chain loops.

Felt very comfortable in this. No way you will fall out and when it is a little cool you can wrap up in this like a blanket staying warm

For the money, wise owl is hard to beat. It will give you all you need to get out and hamock and even provides a variety of colors for everyone. And on top of that, it doesn’t break the bank. I’ve only had it out a few times so I can’t give a comprehensive view on durability but so far it seams great. Only thing I would note is that the straps, although sturdy and functional enough, only have a few loops to hook your hamock onto. This means that often, especially with smaller, or closer together trees, you will have to wrap the strap around the tree and back through itself again. But for the price, that can easily be overlooked, it’s a great option.

It is not as obvious as it looks. Watch video first. If youre familiar with these things youre going to fall on your ass the first time so make sure youre over a grassy soft spot

Definitely worth the money over the name brand ENO hammocks, not to mention it includes the tree straps! The tree straps dont look quite as over-re-enforced as the the ENO straps, but Ive found that they support two people comfortably without any sign of weakness. Im very happy with the quality for what I spent.

280 lbs here, I had doubts it’s can handle my weight or not and IT IS DIFFIDENTLY. Love it and purchased another one for my best friend.

Use my hammock a lot, hasn’t broken yet
