Whooooo doesnt need a hammock? These are ENO at half the cost. Now all our neighbor kids have one. Kids cant decide whats more fun, taking a nap or using them as a swing.

I took this product on a camping trip envisioning snuggling with my two grandchildren in it. It was very easy to put up. We also moved it to another location and I appreciated that it works easily with trees that are varying distances apart. It was durable for children and very comfortable for all! Both of my grandchildren and I fit together but I was also very comfortable alone in it. It was easy to take down when rain came and put back up afterward. (I also left it out in the rain during one storm and it dried quickly when the sun came out.)

So light weight and so comfortable. Dries out quickly and easy to use.

In comparison to other brands, this is excellent value for the price point. My only complaint is that the straps that hug the tree can use more adjustment loops. Recently, I had to wrap around smaller trees and it didnt have enough loops. Worked perfectly for larger tree trunks. Also, this is my second purchase of the same item (different color). Again, the price point is great allowing me to purchase 2 Wise Owl Outfitter hammocks for almost the price of 1 Eagle Nest Outfitter. Especially, because I use the hammocks a few times a year when we are camping or hiking. So, the quality, value, and price point made more sense to go with Wise Owl.

Exceptional product. I bought the SingleOwl camping hammock and received everything in perfect condition. The product came with two very rugged carabiners already attached, one at each end. The hammock has its own storage pouch stitched to the side of the hammock. This is very convenient to roll the entire product up and invert into its own pouch for storage and transport. When compressed into the pouch the product, including carabiners, takes up a tubular shape that measure about 5 inches high by 4 inches in diameter. I guess it weighs about a pound. The nylon is woven, very thin, and extremely strong - thought at first appearance you wouldnt guess its as strong as it is. The stitching appears to be very high quality; I was not able to find any defects on the hammock I received. The product comes with two detached nylon ropes about 8-ft in length each. I suppose these ropes would be adequate to suspend the hammock, but I havent used them. The nylon is a broad woven material that has less sheen than youd expect for nylon - it appears to be more like parachute material, and less like the nylon used on tents. It is somewhat breathable. Im an average sized guy, about 61, 170lbs. This hammock is plenty long enough to be comfortable. The contrasting colored side flaps do, in fact, have enough width to cover a person when laying in the hammock - like a cocoon - but there is nothing to keep them closed. I thought this might be worth mentioning for anyone that was interested. Other than perhaps keeping mosquitoes or other bugs out, I cant imagine why youd want this, but you can. This is a good product for a good price. If youre in the market for this type of hammock, I can highly recommend this brand. I also purchased GONEX Hammock straps. This $12 accessory was more cost-effective than other options and still great quality. I definitely recommend hammock straps as an accessory - these will make hanging the hammock MUCH easier and considerably faster. I think the flat webbing of good hammock straps tend to hold the hammock more securely around trees, but thats just me.

Wise Owl is a solid brand with basic setups and all the accessories you would want, if you wanted to use it for more than lounging on an afternoon. The straps are easy to setup and durably stitched. The material is good quality and held up to my big frame (260lbs). Research lengths, depending on your size and what you plan to do with hammock (e.g., longer for hammock camping, etc.).

I loved how comfortable this was! We bought May 13 2022, and took it down after every use (just light use on our deck for no more than a couple hours at a time maybe twice a week in the summer) to prevent the wind catching it. Stored it mid September over the winter in a dry, cool location. Put it up for the first time this season (June 3 2023) and my 7 year old son got in (correctly, bottom first and no shoes) and within a few minutes it ripped on one side and dropped him on the deck. Lucky he didnt hit his head or spine landed on his bottom. he weighs maybe 60 pounds. Even if he weighed 250, it shouldnt break if it is rated for two adults! Very disappointed and cant find anywhere to reach this company. Will be looking for a different brand.

This hammock is amazing and very worth the buy. My friend has an ENO hammock and after using it I had to buy one, but didn’t want to spend $80. I found this on amazon and decided to give it a try, and I regret not buying it sooner. The material feels identical thickness and weight, the size of the hammock is also identical and works great! The reason for the 4* instead of 5* is because of the straps and the carabiner clips. I wish these came with the wire gate clips, those would make this hammock so much better. The straps are great and work perfectly, but they don’t have as many loops for different length options as the ENO. It’s not a problem, we just wrapped the straps around the tree a few times and it works flawlessly. However the nicer straps don’t require this extra effort.

When we opened up the bag, all of the pieces to use it were not included. Very disappointed. We were with an experienced camper and he said it was not a good hammock. First time using was this past weekend and we cannot return because its too late now. Im sad because we would have avoided the review otherwise. Maybe we can buy the pieces at REI. Thanks for reading!
